"The location is beautiful and understandable that it is in an ancient rainforest, however it doesn’t excuse the mould in some of the rooms or the hair that was clogging the sinks and showers. On arrival we decided to have lunch as they prepped our room, we found flies in our salads, not one but three. We had a 1.5 year old with us, so you can only imagine our shock when the room smelt of damp. They finally agreed to changing our room to only find more damp growing even on the pictures displayed...

"Sorry- it's just for IRONMAN participants + perfect location, between the Langkawi airport and MIEC. No need for taxi. + friendly hotel staff + very large room, more than enough for bike setup ? No hotel restaurant/bar, the airport is the nearest commercial facilities (3 min walk) ? Poor bathroom facilities and maintenance. Need to call up housekeeping many times. ? Poor internet access No hotel is perfect. My personal opinion - this hotel is close to the perfect to IRONMAN...

"The staff were very helpful and supportive but the hotel was old and tired. It was a cheap, well located transit stop between an inward flight in pm and early outbound ferry in the morning. Facilities were basic, but biggest concern was that every word spoken and movement by the family with young children in the room next door were clearly audible through the connecting door. "
