"The Cairn hotel is an older hotel, and in need of updating in places, I found the staff were very welcoming, friendly, and helpful. I had a small single room, which was adequate for my needs. But I did notice a couple of small areas in the ensuite shower room where it looked as though repairs had been left unfinished. "All staff very friendly and welcoming - particularly the ladies at breakfast! Everyone made an effort to interact with our 3 year old which goes a long way. :) very family/ dog friendly. Good food - probably the best cooked breakfast we’ve had in a while, everything was perfectly cooked and great selection. We had a meal in the restaurant too that was tasty!
