"The caravan was in pristine condition when we got in. They have tea, coffee and sugar available in the kitchen, cleaning and bathroom essentials are also available. We really enjoyed our stay and we couldn’t recommend this property enough. The owner was also nice and friendly and answers to queries right away! 10/10!"

"I arrived after 5pm and had not realised Sykes cottages were dealing with the property. It took me two hours to get in because of email issues and also no one to get hold of after hours from Sykes. This needs looking into.
The property itself was well worth the hassle I had been through and I will definitely go back for a second visit. It was clean and very quiet. Only issue was recycling I didn’t know what went where. Maybe a sheet telling you what to do. But apart from this would recommend."

"Nice hotel in a lovely setting. Our lakeside view double room was very spacious and comfortable but a little bit dated. With only one window it made the room very dark and the room lighting options weren’t very good. You had to have every light on in order to look in the wardrobe or use the vanity table , which made the room far too bright. The bathroom was ok but needed hooks on the back of the door to hang wet towels or Bath robes . Food and drink at the hotel was very expensive and over priced for what it was. The spa facilities and swimming pool were modern and in good order and my daughter was delighted with the Swedish massage that you had.
The biggest problem that we had was the poor facilities at the hotel for charging electric cars. I have a hybrid car which needed charging every day but the hotel wanted £25 per day to use their charger. I fully charged my car in a town car park for £6 which is about the going rate for public chargers but was very inconvenient as it meant we had to stay in one place for too long. I would have preferred to charge overnight at the hotel. The hotel needs to install two or three charging points from one of the many companies that now supply them or get the council to install public charging points in the two public car parks at the front of the hotel. The one I used at the car park in Grassmere operated by Fuuse was very good and I would recommend it.
Overall we enjoyed our stay at the Lakeside and the staff were friendly & helpful."
"The hotel is set in a beautiful location with stunning views overlooking Lake Windermere. The staff are lovely, efficient, and professional- we were even allowed to check in early and received a wonderful room upgrade on arrival!
A few small improvements would make the experience even better:
Cleanliness- There were a few spiderwebs on our ceiling that were missed during room prep.
Amenities- For a 4-star hotel, we missed having a mini-fridge in the room. Complimentary bottled water in the room (rather than having to request it at reception) would also be a great touch.
Toiletries- We were only provided one set of shampoo, shower gel, and soap, with no conditioner. For two guests, two full sets including conditioner should be standard.
Aside from these minor points, it’s a lovely hotel and a great choice if you’re looking for a quiet, romantic getaway with your partner!"
"Nice enough hotel. Showing its age here and there. Staff were lovely, as was breakfast. Soundproofing between rooms is a concern, let's just say I heard most of what was going on next door overnight 🤔."
"Very impressed with the hotel and friendly helpful staff.
Centrally located to The Tower. Winter gardens, beach and shops.
Will definitely visit again."
"Clean room, good facilities. Only issue was booked as 1 big group and we were in separate areas of the hotel. So.e in lovely new rooms, other in the older dated rooms."
