My wife and I have stayed at The Coachman a few times now. It's always our primary choice while in Tahoe and allows us to bring our 2 dogs, due to being very dog friendly. We had another amazing experience and will continue to choose The Coachman in the future!

The food was delicious. I felt the value of the food for the cost was very good. Me and my spouse had breakfast and dinner at the restaurant. The quantity of food was very satisfying. We had iced lattes in the afternoon that were great. We stayed with our dog and the area was easy to walk him. Although we had to be mindful of a bear that we spotted several times in the area. The property was well maintained and had a really cool layout. I would stay here again.

Great property to stay. Close to Lakeside beach and the hotel also provides you with the free entry passes. Also close to heavenly village and gandola. Park you car at the property and take a e-bike to go around . They also have a in-house cafe.

I loved our stay here. The staff was so friendly and helpful giving us great tips for our stay. This hotel had the best amenities out of all the places I’ve stayed before they have so many fun things going on every day, but my favorite was the s’mores every night. It was also fun to ride a scooter to heavenly Village right down the street every day. The hotel definitely made it a memorable trip. I was also surprised when I got there to find out that we get free private beach access that comes with staying in the property, we would go every night to watch the sunset. I’m definitely staying here. Next time I come as it was affordable and a great place to stay!

Picked this property for its proximity to concert venue and lake, and because it had a pool/spa. Room was okay, a bit cramped for 4 of us so would consider other room options next time. Staff were friendly and attentive. Appreciated the complimentary beach passes, parking, and other amenities.

Loved our stay at the Coachman. It really is set up nicely to give you a rustic feel even with casinos down the street! The deck, fireplace pits & chairs were a great place to hang out with a glass of wine, coffee & a book. Enjoyed the hot tub on a cool night. Inside the lobby they have a kitchen you can use with a microwave and toaster as well as coffee & tea. Very nice and helpful for those looking to have breakfast in! They also have tasty food at the cafe and a nice selection of wine & beer. Staff was very nice and the whole place just had a great relaxing and good vibes! The room itself was simple. Only 2 notes: make the bathroom door swing out so you don’t get stuck between the toilet & the shower. Beds are very firm. Otherwise it was fantastic for a couples getaway. Also saw dogs & kids so family friendly too! They have beach passes and bikes available too! This is a gem!!

Pros: Clean, helpful staff, vouchers to private beach, ambiance. Restaurants and beach are within walking distance. The lobby and immediate area outside the lobby provide a great area for relaxing around fire pits and the pool. Cons: Some of the buildings are located away from the lobby area and not so nice. Our first room opened onto a breezeway between two buildings with a construction dumpster and equipment just a few steps away. We requested a change and moved to a better location. Our room was a standard king and rustic would be the best way to describe it. It was small, had unfinished wood on doors and shelves, no closet, no chair, one night stand on one side of the bed, no iron or ironing board. If you’re looking for a comfortable, well appointed room, this isn’t it.
