All was great. The bathroom sink had very low pressure, but we informed the management.

Not what we were expecting & HOT.
We were put across the street, away from the beach. The room was rustically cute and fine. Would have been better without the huge black ants and definitely better with A/C or something other than just an overhead fan. We didn't feel comfortable leaving either of the windows open since the room was at ground level. Friends have stayed at the beach front units which we will request next time.
We will also not go through Expedia next time as they did not return my call to see about canceling after our son was in a bike accident. Poor customer service by Expedia!!
This place is terrible. Old, stinky and expensive. Give it a miss no matter what the price. I booked for some friends from out of town and was embarrased.
Peaceful atmosphere, friendly staff, clean room, nice kitchen, clan bathroom, comfy bed. I love the fireplace, and the wide sliding doors. I could see the lake from my bedroom window. Short walk to the lake, breakfast cafe, I enjoyed the hot tub and Sauna. The staff are friendly. Housekeeping are friendly and keep this hotel clean. I will stay there again next month
After reviewing everyone's comment, I was a little worry that it may be a bad experience. It turn out that the cabin was very nice. The place was peaceful and quiet. The worker's there are very friendly and answer all my question, they make me felt like I was the most important person there and invites me and my kids for the events available. My family and I really enjoy being there and we will be going back. The front desk lady made everything possible for us when we wanted to change from a hotel stay to a cabin. All the workers there are friendly and when we need to throw our garbage away, they were happy to find someone there to help.

Great resort next to the lake for a hotel price
We stayed 2 nights while skiing at Boreal which was about 1/2 hour away. The resort staff was very helpful and the room was spacious. The kitchen was bigger than expected and included dishes for cooking.
It was a last minute decision, so we did not have much time to research. The room was tiny, not well insulated, e.g. COLD! The wall heater rattles loudly all night. The sofa bed is more like metal frame with springs and a blanket on top. There is no padding, very painful to sleep on. The toilet leak and water run unless you flush it in a certain way to keep it from doing so. The room has a funny smell, like old, musty deodorizer. The toaster does not work, we did got front desk to exchange a new one, but it's symbolic as by that time we're too hungry and went out to eat.
The only thing going for this place is that it is much closer to Northstar where we want to go skiing. I am upset that I canceled a nice hotel room in Reno that cost less per night to stay in this place that cost 30% more, and spent a miserable night in it! Never again, I don't care if I had to drive a little bit further.

Small rooms, some differed maintenance, but great location. We may return, but get a larger room.
She was not nice when she was asking for the keys back bec. my daughter went back for a lost item and she was like" we're gonna charge you $25 if u will not return the keys" hey girl, you have to wait until we will return the crappy keys and don't act like that's your whole life being taken..
Staff was a bit ignorant to the security.
While instructing us on the use of the door lock keypad, she announced the code to everyone in the small lobby.
DUH!
Maintenance workers appear on your patio without warning.
A bit surprising.
A convenient place to stay.

The Murphy Bed was kind of fun
The bed was more comfortable than I thought it would be. Great location.
Its an older hotel, but you can tell they are trying.
it very nice beach and white snow and we have more comfortable and relax but kitchen one not work turn on heat and nice bedroom and live room and we would like high recommend and thanks you ..
The individual cabins are great. Our cabin wasn't next to the water but still nice. The first room did not work out for us b/c someone else had broken the key off into the lock. The front desk accommodated us promptly with a good attitude. Our 1 bedroom, 1 private bath and sofa bed was perfect for me, my boyfriend and his brother. The parking is free, but a problem with their open parking policy is that others might park right next to your room forcing you to park further from your room. The front desk lady said she could call them and ask them to move, but the offer was enough. Check out is early (10am) :(

very good place
location is very good. near the lake. rooms clean. swimming pool is small and not clean. and the short hair girl at reception is not acting good to customers if the boss women is not near to her. otherwise enviroment is very special. this was in summer session.
We had bad night because of very uncomfortable bedding, practically no sleep, the location of the hotel is very good, the staff is very friendly, the beach is beautiful, the sauna is super, but we couldn't sleep.
Great, loved the beach access, the room was a little small. The bed is a Murphy type . The pool was nice. The lobby doesn't open until 9 am, so if you want extra coffee you can't get it. But you're in Tahoe!! Can't do much better than that.
This is the most outdated horribly designed room I have ever stayed in. I thought I was getting a room with a Queen bed and pull out sofa. The queen bed is a pull out or hid a bed I guess. It was very cramped in the room and when you dropped the bed down out of the wall almost impossible to get around. I don't want to even go into the horrible service I received at the front desk. I will be writing for a week if I did. The beach is the only thing that have going for them. I suggest find another beach and another hotel.
This was a lovely room all that was needed. A pull down bed made the room spacious for day use.
The fridge/freezer was rather loud when it was working.
The staff couldn't have been more helpful.
My Husband and I with our youngest daughter and 1 of our granddaughter 's had a great stay. Got to see some snow on the way to Lake Tahoe. The beach at the resort was nice. We will definitely come again.

Beautiful location and friendly staff. Room is OK. Had everything you needed with a great view. Hot tub and sauna were a nice perk. Close to many spots in Tahoe. Would come back for the price and location!
I took my little brothers (twins 13) their best friend (13) my cousin (17) my boyfriend (19) and myself (18) so we had a pretty full room we made it work, the one bedroom we stayed in has the bed in the bedroom as well as a pull out sleeper couch, when we got there we moved the couch all the way to the sliding door that opened to a field with volleyball the pool/hot tub sauna and basketball and fit a queen sized air bed in there as well so nobody would have to sleep on the floor, the room was good for the 6 of us for the 2 nights we stayed their the only bad thing is the kitchen has NO OVEN and we brought pizza for the first night... good thing safeway is right down the street
