  • Lake George Steamboat Company offers a variety of tours and tour lengths on three different boats. This is the Mohican, their largest. The trip was about 2.5 hours, cost about $23 per person and traveled from the southern point of the lake to about half way north. There is a snack bar but I did not visit it. There is commentary talking about the history of the lake, area and some of the houses. It was a very relaxing and pleasant way to spend the afternoon.

The Lido is always clean and cozy. It's a block away from the main street so it's much quieter and relaxing. The rooms got a recent makeover but the charm is still intact. It's still the off-season so the pool was closed and most amenities (like the ice machine) were not in place yet. Still a great stay especially at the reasonable non-peak rate.

Absolutely a little GEM, in the heart of Lake George! But , one block off the main street... Quiet, clean, very relaxing & clean pool, owners were so sweet and attentive! Walking distance to everything! We will definitely stay here, on our next trip to Lake George!

Needs some maintenance

The room and closet area were spacious. The beds were comfortable and clean, there's air conditioning, plenty of hangers, iron and ironing board, mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker and a pool. One of the doors to the outside didn't close properly and I found it open one night. Towels and Facecloths had some staining. There's no cleaning service during your stay, if you need extra things, they will give it to you readily at the office. A family place, lots of kids. Hairdryer and clock didn't work I was there to go hiking and activities with a large group, so the room was unimportant and reasonably priced
