"We've looked at visiting this property for over a year, we finally decided to reserve a room. Let me say we were very pleased. It's very clean, quiet, great staff, breakfast was delicious, and the view of the Indian River was exactly what we wanted.
The only thing I would change on our next visit is the room. Because I'm a light sleeper, the room on the first floor would not be my choice, due to it being to close to the kitchen and foye. The light shining through the window from the porch light...
"This house is brimming with style and comfort. From the moment we arrived, we felt at home in this luxurious and historical home. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was amazing both mornings. They catered to my food allergies, and were eager to accommodate. Our room "The Henry" was spacious and the bed was SO comfortable that I did not want to wake up! This home is located on a street lined with idyllic Victorian estates and overlooks the beautiful river. The grounds were quite spacious...
"This was one of our best stays anywhere in the US. The owners have put a lot of love and care in every room ( which has a personality of its own). The owners cooked Breakfast for us that was delicious and also respectful of our dietary preferences. They have plenty of towels available. And in case the above did not convey it, it blows the experience in any other hotel (e.g. Marriott) out of the water. "
"The only thing I would say is things just look out dated the hallways could use some paint and the furniture was all scuffed up but it was a good hotel staff was awesome on every shift "
