"Could not believe how much charm every corner of this venue had. My wife and I spent 2 nights here and were sad we didnt book at least 5 more! great location and Shaws cove just 3 minute walk away is arguably one of the most scenic spots on the whole CA coastline. cant recommend more"

The Tides Laguna Beach

"Laguna Beach was the first stop on our road trip. The Tidelands property was quaint and very clean. We had a room on the second floor that was very private and spacious. Two extra-long full beds that were very comfortable. It was very walkable to the beach and to the downtown district. Self-parking is included, which is always nice. We loved our stay there and would do it again without question. Hands down a five-star experience with this great property."

Laguna Surf Lodge by SCP Hotels

"Stunning views, freshly renovated and top notch guest service... We were thrilled to return to what was once the Laguna Riviera, now the Laguna Surf Lodge, after honeymooning there 35 years ago. Upon check-in Kyle asked if we'd ever stayed at the property and he was so kind as to offer us the same room - albeit a beautifully renovated version! We were treated like family by Kyle, Gabe and all of the staff and feel this updated version of a classic hotel is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the calm of the ocean, stunning sunsets and all of Laguna's beautiful attractions."

Pacific Edge Hotel

2/10 Terrible

"The stay at Pacific Edge was horrible! The place is dilapidated and worn down. The stairs were shaky and the pool area had a gas leak smell that made my daughter and wife sick. To top it off, we paid $75 a night for valet parking and when I forgot to give them the keys, they literally boxed my car in with 3 other cars so I could not move it in the event of an emergency. It was embarrassing and humiliating to do that. Did they think I was going to stiff them on a $20 tip? Total joke! We have been coming here for 30 years, and when I let management know of my concerns, they banned from any future stays in the property. I told them I didn't care because we were not coming back anyways! Horrible treatment and we will NEVER stay here again. If may be cheaper then other hotels but now you know why. It's better to pay a little more and pay for a place that is clean, hospitable and treats you with respect. Laguna Beach is awesome and these guys ruined our stay. STAY AWAY!"
