My husband and I have stayed here 3 times. I saw some improvements and some downfalls. The parking lot needs a pressure wash badly, sink/shower drains clog in every room. Not enough towels issued for the $. AC units always leak. Hiring nasty attitude women at breakfast who take 20 minutes just to collect your coffee order and then another 60 just to deliver it. Every time I ordered something I got a snarled face and questioned by her. You don’t need to know why I’m ordering what I am, you just say OK and bring it. Black tea any flavor is not offensive. Ordering two drinks at once isn’t crazy, bringing me honey instead of the milk I requested, after waiting for 45 minutes is obnoxious. I’d rather you set up a coffee bar and I’ll get my own than deal with attitude. Plenty of Nigerians would love that job and do it well so why make your hotel look bad by hiring ones with poor manners? However the majority of staff is great and super friendly. Pool area the best. Buffet so much better than last two times. Waiting 1hr for a coffee and then needing to vomit after 4 sips makes me think the drink is compromised and that is bad for business.

I always enjoy my stay at the Nordic hotel. Lovely hotel. Hope they renovate before it starts getting old. No major complaints. Breakfast was delicious and staff are pleasant.

This hotel is the perfect place if you want somewhere quiet and cute. The service was quick, the food was delicious, there is a pool with fabulous seating underneath trees as well as in the direct sunlight, and the environment was very professional. The rooms are on the smaller size, but they are very clean and functional.

Best hotel in Lagos

Very clean and well-maintained boutique hotel. Spent a total of 12 nights and did not want to leave. The room smelled good, corridors smelled fresh, staff and customer service was top notch. WiFi was patchy on my first stay but it was fixed and had no issues on my second stay. The rooms are much better than in the pictures. As a solo traveler, I felt safe and secure on the property. My guests were treated well. Variety at breakfast and in the Rye restaurant was good. As feedback to hotel, ensure the shower drains stay open and get better lighting in the bathroom - couldn’t see to do makeup well. Greetings to all the staff from rooms 305 and 211.

We had a delightful stay at the hotel—the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, allowing us to check in early seamlessly and without additional fees. The property's beauty and cozy, friendly atmosphere made us feel completely safe. While I enjoyed all my meals, my husband, who has high expectations being Nigerian, rated it 6/10. The only drawback was a non-chilling chiller that maintenance couldn't improve upon. Overall, we'd love to stay here again.

This was a very clean, calm and inviting space to spend my vacation. It was elegant but not gaudy. The staff was excellent and very attentive to my needs. I felt very well taken care of there. This was the best hotel stay I have ever experienced.
