"Pen was phenomenal. English-speaking and very helpful getting taxis and answering questions. Pen made our stay wonderful. This is a beautiful resort in the middle of nowhere, which was just the getaway we were looking for. We did get a taxi to White Sand Beach one day and I was glad we didn’t stay there because it was too touristy. At night at Parama, all you can hear are birds and frogs. Paradise. "

The airconditioner was blowing mouldy smelling damp air, informed reception 20 mins after checking in, asked for a candle or something to remove smell while we aired it out. "Didn't enjoy our stay here. Was a nightmare to find from the Cambodian border, no one spoke English, room was dirty. Pool area was nice but wooden loungers were very uncomfortable. Dinner was fantastic, once you managed to communicate what you wanted. Free breakfast was poor, ran out of bread first morning and no choice about what we ate the second one. We used google translate to ask them to book us a shuttle to Bangkok. It only took us as far as Pattya then we were unceramoniously dumped at...
