"The staff are very helpful and friendly. We were checking in and I mentioned that we had been driving for 9 hours and very tired. The front desk clerk, Aa Kash upgraded us to a suite at no extra cost. There are 2 restaurants on site which is very nice as we didn't have to drive to get dinner or breakfast. The hotel is downtown, across from a park and the Thompson river. Walking trails and an ice cream place close by. We faced the park / river view, and have previously stayed in a room with the "train" city view. The train track is right by the hotel. So if you are a light sleeper you may want to get a park view room. But when we stayed in a room with the city view (train) the train did not wake us up. The reason I gave a 9 instead of a 10 is because there was no complimentary bottled water and the carpet was wet in two areas and I am not sure if it was because it was steam cleaned or the previous customers spilt something, plus the closet floor was very noticeably not vacuumed. Overall, still a good stay with friendly staff, a comfortable bed and decent towels and bedding."

"Terrible stay, toooo noisy!!! (I got very little sleep!) Pool & hot tub were full of noisy kids ALL the time! Suggestion: have adult only pool, hot tub from 8pm-9:30. Also, parking was limited , I did not go out after I got a parking spot fear of no parking later. (people were non stop circling around for parking) Ps staff were helpful though! Also had 2 live crawling spiders in the bathroom…ugh!"
