I am a smoker and usually smoking rooms smell like ash trays. Patuxent Inn impressed me right from opening the door to my room. It was clean and odor free with equally clean and odor free towels and bedding. I would recommend to anyone who enjoys truly clean accommodations.

It was very good cheap price to stay! It was clean and rustic hotel! We wish they provide better thick towels, one more trash bin, extra toilet papers and tissues. In overall we love the area where we can easily go eat or just shopping around!

I didn’t appreciate being called 30mins prior to check out. I paid my money to stay until check out (11am) and felt harassed about it. I can understand if I was there post checkout time but that was not the case. If I paid for my time I don’t expect to be bothered by the staff during my allotted time. When explaining this to the staff they got very defensive about me criticizing the situation and really didn’t care about how it looks from a guest point of view. Their attitude was just as cheap as the room prices and amenities. I guess you get what you pay for.

The bathroom was disgusting, housekeeping came and knocked on the door at 10:30 even tho check out is at the 11. I told them one second and they proceeded to come anyways. The lobby smelled so bad I almost threw up in my mouth

The room was disgusting. There were stains all over the bedding. The smell was terrible, the room hadn't even been dusted. There was rust in the shower. The lady at the counter was not friendly. I had to wait for her to finish smoking to come and check me in. The manager, Mistry, does not care. Will not give a refund. We had to stay in the filthy room because we were traveling through town and it was 11pm at night. You are better off sleeping in your car.

Hotel and staff were great! Whoever was staying in the room above us spent all night stomping around and dropping stuff on the floor. Both nights!

Simple, no frills, clean room, comfortable bed, newly renovated bathroom. 1/2 the price of other hotels in area. Just what we needed. Front desk staff super friendly. Young lady even volunteered to mail package home for me since shipping stores were closed on Sunday.

Disappointed. Facility did not have any luggage carriers, you had to carry your luggage up or down steps. You could not park your vehicle in front of your room, therefore you need luggage carriers, plus the door directly in front of the stairs was down therefore you had to walk through the lobby with you bags. Very inconvenient.

The building is older but the room was newly remodeled with carpet and tile. Just what I expected.

This was my second time staying here and as before the staff was VERY NICE AND WELCOMING. Beds are a little on the stiff side, however when you are greeted with pleasant staff the little things does not matter.
