"Vincenzo and Tonia were very helpful and responsive hosts. Unfortunately the drawer in the bathroom fell on my foot whilst we were unpacking, which left exposed sharp screws for the rest of the stay. The accommodation itself was relatively clean, has been completed to a high standard however the rooms close to reception just have a sliding door, which meant it was quite noisy with people coming in and out and didn’t feel super secure. "The property is a hidden gem. Our room was renovated in modern minimalist and large practical closets and a terrace. Our most lovely discovery was the wellness center which had multiple pools, hot,cold, jacuzzi, sauna and sunny all day. It was well maintained. The other surprise was the beach, although a pebble and stone beach, it’s easily accessibile with no hike required. Finally, it has a full service Marina with excursions to all the main islands. We recommend you buy the hotel excursions. The breakfast was at the restaurant with view on the beach and it was fully stocked. They also have their own navette that takes or picks you up at (Vico Equense train station). Avoid Seiano . We want to give a shout out to Marianna and all the reception ,they were informative and knowledgeable, and communication was easy."

"Hotel Mary was absolutely amazing from beginning to end. The service, attention to detail, and overall experience were exceptional. While it is on the higher end in terms of price, it is truly worth every penny. What really sets this hotel apart is the personalized service. From the valet and check-in staff to the pool and beach club teams, everyone made us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. A very special shout-out has to go to Vincenzo at the restaurant. He goes above and beyond to make you feel at home, make you feel special, and ensure your evening is one to remember. His energy, warmth, attention, and genuine care completely elevated our experience. Vincenzo is truly one of those people you remember long after your vacation is over. That said, the entire staff was equally wonderful and contributed to an incredible stay. We had such a great time and left feeling that Hotel Mary offers something truly special. We will absolutely be back. Highly recommended!"

"4 nuits à cette hôtel et on va vraiment beaucoup aimé. Le site est vraiment très beau, vue incroyable sur le Vésuve et sur la montagne en arrière de l’hôtel, belle piscine sur le bord de l’eau. Eau très froide par contre dans la piscine. Bon buffet déjeuner. Stationnement facile pour l’auto et vraiment pas chers comparé aux autre hôtels. Accès facile à la route pour aller visiter. Chambre très grande, lit confortable, c’était très propre. Moi et ma conjointe avons passé un très beau séjour, je vous recommande cet hôtel."

"We have just returned from a fantastic holiday staying at Le Ancore. It is a small and intimate hotel, very clean and all staff were friendly and also very accommodating with helping us to organise our trips. The hotel is ideally situated to explore the area including: Capri, Amalfi, Pompeii, Mount Vesuvius, with the ferry across the road or the free shuttle they provide to and from the station. There are also a selection of restaurants in the immediate vicinity, our favourites were Mustafa and Capri Blu. Also being able to use the facilities of the neighbouring hotel is a bonus with the pools, beach and spa facilities, had a fantastic Swedish massage. I would definitely recommend this hotel."

"The views are breathtaking! The breakfast and restaurant are good. Light breakfast, coffee, water, juice, sweet pastries, some protein like prosciutto, some fruit and yogurt! Croissants of-course! We had the Jr Suite with the jacuzzi which was amazing for recovery of the walking and long days! The pool is at the very top of the hill (3 flights of steep steps) , not easily accessible, jacuzzi for the outside premises is nearby, the patio is a highlight for views, be prepared for the nightly sirens and boat sounds since it is right in front of marina however a far far walk, it is not easily accessible walking for any of those who require a sidewalk . However my daughter mother and I made many trips by foot in front of hotel the castle has a steep way down to the city, if you decide to take a cab, it will cost you$25-$30 each way to come up or down. The closes town is Vico Equense, (loved it) not so busy but places to eat..Castallamare has no bus access there so we took a cabs often,$50! So you need reliable transportation or be willing to walk a secluded mountain side by castle to reach train down in the town! But the views and hotel service makes up for this! The housekeeping crew was wonderful, Luigi was a lifesaver when we arrived at train station without access to taxis, he personally came for us! At no charge, all in all had a wonderful peaceful stay, I will say Castallamare is the place to decompress from the hustle and bustle of Positano, Sorrento,Almafi and Napoli!"

"We had read so many wonderful reviews about this hotel and they were not wrong. From the moment you walked in the hotel staff were very helpful and continued to be for the week that we were there. The courtesy bus was great, took us to the station and from there we had our trips to Sorrento, Amalfi and Napoli. The breakfast was very nice, the views were amazing from the rooftop of the hotel with a glass of morning fizz in hand! The restaurant in the evening in the hotel grounds was faultless, the food was amazing and the staff exceptional. During the day the pool area was very calm, the lifeguard / pool attendant kept it spotless, he was a fountain of local knowledge. Thank you, Medusa we had a wonderful time and would thoroughly recommend your beautiful hotel"
