RUDE STAFF RUDE HOUSEKEEPING!!! I WOULDNT RECOMMEND AT ALL EXCEPT THE PRICE AND PET FRIENDLY AND GOOD PATCH OF GRASS FOR DOGS .TO EXERCISE ON JUST OFF THE PARKING LOT,
My girls and I always enjoy our stay here. From the moment we walk in to check in to the moment we check out its always a good experience. Staff is very friendly understanding and caring. The rooms are clean acs work great comfy beds and best of all great prices.
Convenient location for my family and business in La Mesa. Nice pool and hot tub and good laundry accommodations too. Lots of great shopping and services nearby as well.
Custom service is super friendly and patient even though we showed up late almost midnight to check in. One of us is stroked-recovery person.
The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.
They had many convenient amenities here.

Laundry was good hot tub was cold with plastic pieces floating in it.
The staff is there for you, pleasantries for all! They recognize your loyalty when it counts, being fussed over isn't that important to me, just nice in rare occasions they are there when you need them.

Economic, offers smoking room option. Service was commendable, provided extra blankets and towels on request.
The person behind the counter was wonderful. The property is old, but there is effort to keep it up. It does not feel safe. I witnessed multiple drug deals. After bringing my things upstairs, there were dirty palm prints on the back of the black car from where someone tried to open the trunk. This place seems like a long-term hotel for people on government aid. It smelled like homeless people in drugs. The room was clean, even though it was ran down. There was only one microwave for the whole building. Very awkward. I would avoid this place at all costs.
We stayed two wks the ladies i call Thelma and Louise were very nice had alot to take care of being three story high multiple rms.as with any big city you have your trouble makers but Louise is right there taking care of buisness calling cops if anyone gets out of hand uncle Charlie the night man is really nice all the staff is great we would gladly stay again hi Thelma and Louise have a good one from 207
First of all, the entrance was hard to find. Its location was weird, like in between of highway junctions, and I had to turn into small roads under the highways to get in otherwise, I would have missed it. The first moment we walked into the lobby we could smell weed and smoke. The staff is old but nice. However, when my friend and I checked the first room we got, it smelled stinky, like sweet and musty, very weird smell I had never experienced before, to the point that I couldn't bear it. We switched the room 2 times, and that smell remained. We even aired the room out for about 20 minutes but it didn't help us. My friend felt dizzy while airing the room out. Pretty sure this smell is in all place in the building. We asked to check out since day one and were overcharged than the rate we paid per night via Expedia. I was definitely worried about getting bed bugs after more research on the smell source.

I Definitely liked the pool the room was clean and the lications of the place. However the bathtub was damaged with cracks there was no microwave nether hairdryer. I didn't like the fact that the place wanted to charge more just for allowing me to check in one hour earlier.
Overall not a bad Motel. They are doing renovations so some disarray is expected. The worst experience was trying to find the entrance to the hotel. We drove around the hotel three times, even entering the freeway again by accident.
Maybe a sign directing the guests to the entrance.
Room was OK. Bathroom was clean. Noisy during early morning hours from traffic on all sides of the hotel. Would stay again for the rates we paid. Very reasonable for what you get

This was my first time ever trying out a stay here at the Heritage Inn La Mesa. It was a fair value at the time and decided to try it out.
What you first realize when you arrive here is that it won’t be so quiet of a stay seeing that you are situated so close to a freeway. The staff is really friendly and accommodating to your needs. So after checking in, I made a beeline to my room, only to notice that the door key was having some difficulty letting me in. After a moment, the key finally worked and it allowed me into a somewhat musky room. Turning on the A/C quickly and letting it run a bit solved that problem. After unpacking and taking my shoes off, I noticed that the carpet floor felt a bit sticky. Glad I brought some sandals. Now that I’ve had some time to settle in, it was time for me to take a shower. The water pressure was decent, but the water temperature wasn’t constant. It went from being just right, to getting a bit cold, then a little hot.
Now I do realize that this is my first time there, because it’s not really a bad place to be. You have some places to eat within walking distance and other decent restaurants within a few minutes by car. But I do hope that the next time I decide to go there, that some of my experiences would be addressed.
I hope you found this helpful.
