"The location and views are excellent. The rooms are comfortable. However, upon arrival, the staff was not very friendly. We got there a bit early and had suitcases but the only option for us to hang out at the pool area was to bring our suitcases outside with us. I asked for the WIFI pw at the front desk and was told that there wasn't WIFI available. The next morning, we went to use the pool but it was shut down for maintenance."

Our room was located next to an event space, and one weekend night there was a loud event with music and heavy bass that could be felt in the room until late at night. It made it difficult to relax and sleep. In my opinion, this room should not be occupied on the nights with events."

"This was a beautiful place. The staff cooked breakfast daily and even made a special effort to serve me Mofongo and it is not on the menu. It was so quiet and at night we heard the coqui sing. It was close to major beaches, hammocks outside and just beautiful. I would definitely return. The hot water did not work in the cabin but the staff is very attentive and I am sure they will have that fixed. "Figured we'd stay in Mayagüez for a night and then head over to some waterfalls in the general area. I don't usually gravitate towards hotel chains, but the island is still on the mend from the storm of '17 and earthquake of '20, and Holiday Inn is doing a pretty good job of presenting well maintained and comfortable properties around the island. Bed was comfortable, room and facilities were in good shape, and it was easy access to grab a bite to eat in town. I'd stay there again."
