Salvadorians were very nice, welcoming,and excited to see people of color. Staff and guests asked us why we traveled there and were excited to welcome us there, especially since the country has gone through a huge transition (for the netter) with the current president. The hotel does not provide an iron in your room,they charge 1.50 for each article of clothing.

My recommendation: don't buy the all-inclusive package for this resort. The food isn't good—there’s no variety, and it’s never hot. Also, with the à la carte options, you can't choose a full meal (appetizer, main course, and dessert); they tell you to pick just one, and if you want another, you have to pay extra. So, why on earth pay so much for all-inclusive? You can find much better food—really good food—in the surrounding area, such as at La Pampa Argentina and other places I won't mention. In short, Bahia del Sol Resort offers poor service regarding both housekeeping and dining. In the room I stayed in (#631), the bathtub drain clogged whenever I used it, the walls were old and dirty, and the air conditioner sounded like a helicopter sleeping right next to you. There was no mini-fridge for cold water, no iron, no closet, no soap holder in the bathroom, and the list goes on. Their TikTok ads bear no resemblance to reality; I experienced it firsthand, and it was a costly mistake. As for the country of El Salvador itself, I give it a 100% rating: the people are very respectful and friendly, the streets and highways are very clean, and there is a strong security presence (both military and police)—an excellent transformation that has made the country very beautiful.

The staff was extremely nice and really helpful. The facilities in general were decent enough and well kept. Cleanliness in general was very acceptable in my POV. The food wasn't the best but I managed to survive! I would give this place a 9.5 out of 10.

The hotel was average, the room looks old not very clean maintained the drain smell, the bed umm, average. I had to walk kind of far to check in and check out. Check in understanding, but check out...not necessary...others hotels(better than this one)just have to leave and drop off the key in a box. The reception phone # provided didn't work.I liked the breakfast menu, lunch and dinner not impressed. I liked the all inclusive drinks because able to get beers,however I don't drink. The pool very clean and good size 👌. The beach kind of dirty, people leave empty beer bottles on the sand. " 5 stars 🌟 to the employees they are very kind, helpful with a good attitude."

La habitación estaba limpia, el personal es muy atento, la playa está muy lejos, el problema es que el restaurante queda a un kilómetro de distancia se debe caminar los tres tiempos de comida bajo el sol y hay que atravesar una carretera y el hotel no proporciona transporte!

Rooms are not very clean plus they don’t have even the essential stuff stuff that you expect to have in a hotel room such as towel hangers, clothes hangers the bathroom is so small that the door won’t open all the way because the sink is on the way also the walls are so thin and don’t have any insulation so hear everything thing the neighbors are saying and doing The food was the same every single day and not very good plus you have to walk about 10-15 minutes to get to the restaurant

I would not recommend this resort to anyone. This resort was so misleading, it’s not worth it, the workers weren’t attentive, I had a huge issue with the room where I was put into. Didn’t look like the room in the pictures advertised on Expedia. In the end I would not recommend to anyone, I barely got room service. I asked twice and nothing, I had to go to the main desk and ask for water bottles and clean towels. The main door for the room was not locking, I asked someone to come fix it. It took hours for someone to come and I called in the morning. The service was horrible, the food was horrible. It’s not all inclusive as they say. There’s a tiki bar but that’s out of pocket. I’m extremely unhappy with everything. Not worth over $2k for 5 days.
