Benchmark hotels in La Canada Flintridge

"Nos hospedamos 3 noches en el Loews Hollywood Hotel en familia y en general tuvimos una buena experiencia. La ubicación es muy buena, está literalmente en el corazón de Hollywood y es muy fácil llegar a muchos puntos de interés de la ciudad. También tiene parking de fácil acceso, lo cual es bastante conveniente en esta zona. El hotel es correcto, nada particularmente fancy, pero cómodo. La habitación tenía camas cómodas, buena insonorización (y eso que nuestra habitación estaba cerca del ascensor) y la ducha tenía muy buena presión. No usamos la piscina, pero la vimos y se veía bien. Algo a tener en cuenta es que el hotel realmente no tiene vistas destacadas. Algo que sí nos gustó mucho fue el servicio de housekeeping: siempre dejaban la habitación muy bien organizada y limpia. Un punto que no nos gustó fue un tema de seguridad. Notamos que para usar el elevador no es necesario usar la tarjeta de la habitación para subir a los pisos. Es decir, cualquier persona puede entrar y subir a los pisos de habitaciones. En una ciudad tan grande y en un hotel tan concurrido como este, creemos que deberían tener al menos esa medida básica de seguridad."

"The room was very clean and so was the hotel. The beds were comfortable and the room was quiet. Access to the room was easy after a long day at the park, which was nice. The continental breakfast was an absolute rip off. Most places will allow a large variety of options to choose from included with your stay at their continental breakfast but here they provide very limited free options alongside delicious options you have to pay for. A very distasteful way to encourage kids and children to want items that to adults are obviously not free, but not to them. I get it things are going to cost a little more on vacation, but the room price, $12 bottles of water, $175 seafood buffet, and $37 breakfast??? Please we ain't at Disneyland! But I digress, very close to the park and parking was relatively easy too."

"The place itself was good. Location was perfect for our visit. The issue- the overwhelming amount of fees that were charged!! Destination fee? Resort fee? $60 parking fee?? Had we known we may have chosen some where else"

The way they carry themselves and the warmth they share truly makes a difference—it’s the kind of hospitality that makes someone feel seen and welcomed, not just like another guest passing through. For me, the value of a hotel stay has never been about price or luxury, but about the feeling a place gives you. Hotel Glendale has a warmth and comfort that’s hard to describe but easy to feel. While I’ve briefly explored a few other hotel properties during this time after experiencing a house fire and searching for my next home, it’s made me realize how special this place really is. Even being at a beachfront property on a high floor right now, I still find myself thinking about the cleanliness, care, and heart that exists at Hotel Glendale. The thoughtful details around the hotel,the vending machines on each floor, the fresh H₂O station, and the latte machines, are small touches that make the experience even more comforting.
