Hotel Le Bonne Entente

8/10 Good

"We stayed in a business room with one king bed. Unfortunately, the room could use some updating. Also, the room we were given was different from the one shown in the photos on Hotels.com when we made our reservation, which was disappointing. The air conditioner was very noisy, and we had to turn it off in order to sleep. The bathroom counter was quite narrow, leaving very little space for our personal items. The bathtub also felt unstable, as if there was a hollow space underneath the middle. That said, the room was clean, which we appreciated. The gym could also use some improvements. Some of the equipment was out of order, and there were no towels available. It’s unfortunate, because this hotel has been one of my favourites. I hope these issues can be addressed, as I would love to continue enjoying my stays here."

"Expérience décevante, spa fermé non annoncé lors de la réservation. Machine à café non fonctionnel à l’accueil. Bruyant entre les chambres. Qualité de chambre moyenne. Savon dans la salle de bain très ordinaire. Aucun article de toilette. Hôtel de qualité motel. J’ai de la difficulté à donner 3 étoiles. Vraiment déçu de mon expérience et je ne recommanderai pas cet hôtel malheureusement."

"We were given a room that still had stucco walls and peeling wallpaper in the bathroom. Dust lined along the floor and a blasting container under the a/c that was disgustingly nasty. The a/c unit didn’t work and we had to wait for maintenance and he said the cold doesn’t work but the fan does… We’re on the 4th floor and it was 25 out. We then asked for another room and were basically told they were almost full and they could switch out the whole unit instead. We literally booked a few hours before on Expedia and there a lot of room options left: Finally after 2+ hrs and no air conditioner, we got another room which was completely renovated and beautiful. I felt we got stuck in a dump because we booked through Expedia. For the $$ we paid it was not worth it. The kids played at the pool and it was a group of us travelling. The front desk staff said people complained about the noise- it was the pool and the girls were playing volleyball. Come on. Won’t recommend at all."
