"We stayed one night in the Royal Suite with its own hotspring bathtub in the room. Didn’t realize it at the time of booking but it comes with the best dining seating location which gives the best view of the lush and tranquil garden, free private hot springs downstairs, and a huge suite room. Kaiseki dinner was just exquisite and delicious as well as the breakfast next morning. Almost like a fine dining experience. "Great place to stay, if you don’t mind it being a bit worn down which is the beauty of staying in a traditional ryokan with onsen. Night staff speaks fluent English, quite the opposite for the Day staff however. Has a fireplace in the lobby with free mashmallow offered. There is a ping pong table, and a pool table free for guests. Though I found their placement being right at the entry area of the Ryokan a bit awkward."
