The rooms are clean and although there’s no staffed reception the instructions to check in are good and the communication via email promptly responded. This was one of our most affordable stays in Japan. Great value for money. My daughter adored the foot massage and good communications to Kyoto station for the bullet train. Thank you for having us.

RESI STAY JISCO HOTEL KYOTO GOSHONISHI was a wonderful find for our stay in Kyoto. The location is fantastic — just a short walk from the Kyoto Imperial Palace and only about 5 minutes from Marutamachi Station, making it incredibly easy to explore the whole city. The rooms were spotless and thoughtfully designed, and the Simmons bed with the in-room foot massager was such a nice touch after a long day of sightseeing. A wonderful, comfortable stay — highly recommend for anyone wanting an authentic, peaceful home base in Kyoto.

Near the subway station and coffee shops. Nice location right next to the imperial palace. Smaller sized rooms and bathroom. Basic bathroom accessories but there wasn’t much more in the way of amenities. Full kitchen, but it didn’t seem we could use it and no on site breakfast. It was nice but not overwhelmingly so.

Everything was great, location was perfect, not too busy but very close to a metro and even walking to the main areas. The room was clean and convenient, though small. Convenient laundry. The staff available only online was quick to respond and the instructions were always clear and easy. Just beside the imperial palace, the hotel is at a walkable distance from many areas with shops and restaurants. Also very close to the metro station

Great stay!

Very good stay! Checking was a bit slow since there’s no staff at the entrance during the day. But the rooms are spacious, beds are comfortable! Very reasonable price, super clean. Would stay again for sure!

It was easy to find the place and the location is walkable from the subway station. Er we’re able to store our luggage before check in since we got there early. The staff was friendly and the room was great. Even a foot massage machine in the room! The TV is not smart, so if would like to watch a movie at night, I recommend bringing an hdmi to USBc cable

This hotel was everything I needed it to be, and the check in process was very streamlined. The area was pretty nice as well being so close to the Kyoto Imperial Palace. They also have Luup bikes on property which were handy when getting around Kyoto. I also had to extend my stay and they were more than happy to accommodate.
