Fabulous, glamorous, peaceful retreat

Art deco fabulousness! Such a peaceful and glamorous spot. Straight out of gatsby! We thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance and lovely service. Fantastic breakfast lunch and dinner. And we adored the staff. We stayed in a suite and loved every minute of it, fascinated by the people who once called this place home in an interesting era in history.

We enjoyed our stay at Bjertorp Slott very much. The property and the setting was absolutely beautiful. It was located in the countryside which was very lovely and peaceful. The interior was breathtaking. Our room was very comfortable with a view of the garden. For those who enjoy a round of golf , there was a course onsite. It was located in the countryside and was very quiet. Parking was on-site. Our meals were magnificent. I would highly recommend a stay at Bjertorp Slott.

Mat & service långt under förväntan

Väldigt fint och trevligt hotell! Maten och servicen i restaurangen var dock kraftigt under förväntan och förstörde mycket av upplevelsen. Först blev vi förflyttande från vårt bord till ett annat mycket sämre utan anledningen. Tog väldigt lång tid mellan rätterna, totalt 2,5 timme för tre rätter. Fick påminna servitrisen om allt minst två gånger, exempelvis dricka och nota och det gick gäster runtomkring oss också. Fisken som vi tog var helt överkokt och torr och märklig kombination på rätter. Vi hade förväntat oss mycket bättre på ett sådant här ställe.

Väl värt att stanna här

Vi stannade en natt och åt på hotellet. Fantastisk byggnad och miljö riktigt fin mat. Servicen lever inte upp riktigt upp till resten. All personal verkar arbeta hårt och är trevliga men ändå saknas det lilla extra. Tex stod det ett halvdrucket ölglas på ett bord från kvällen före när vi kom ner till frukost. Den typ av detaljer förväntar man sig inte på ett så här fint hotell.

Det var vackra omgivningar och själva slottet var vackert! Men det var otroligt lyhört och luktade avlopp in i rummet när man hade fönstret öppet. Middagen var okej, men ingen upplevelse direkt.
