The price is cheap, however, from the internet photos, the pictures looks really clean and the building around it looks clean, BUT, when you actually arrive, the area is getto and worn down, and everything is old, looks like from the 1960's hotel, 50 years old. Carpet dirty, used, old, elevator old, rooms old worn out, It looks like it was from the 1960's hotel. The staff is helpful, but everything is old.

Located in good neighborhood, nice staff, comfortable bed, clean room. The things I dont like were I dont see nearby restaurants, further walking to trains/ buses, small room.

I stayed in a refurbished room. Was very good . Rooms is small but its great for 2 and rooms are clean. Staffs are very good they are very friendly. Mr Yogen was a nice person, gave lots of information about kl and food stuffs and travel advice informed us that hotel is on-going some refurbishment. Very recommended for their outstanding hospitality.

Seems to be very small old property but well kept and well maintained. Friendly staffs and great place. Not much to complaint as its value for what you pay. I saw some light refurbishment going on i hope they will make the hotel better.

Very good hotel. Rooms are small but clean and comfortable. Housekeeing staffs are great assistance. Songkar was very helpfull guy. Cozy musics at lobby. Breakfast was ok we enjoyed the sandwiches only.

The photos were different from the actual room, in description it said city view plus the window was also different from the photo. There was no view because of the blockage of the other building in the front, it would be better if true details were provided. Overall, the service was good and clean room.

You get what you pay for.
The non smoking room is unfortunately on the smoking floor area, you could smell it as soon as you open the door. The connecting door was not doubled, we could hear everything from our neighbors. The walls and ceiling have stains and need painting so bad. The staff was nice. Breakfast was terrible. The carpet was old and dirty. The towel and tissue holders were rusty.

Nice Hotel
The hotel was more than decent for the price. We were accidentally placed in two twin rooms on a lower floor, and they didn’t look very nice. After the correction, we were given our double rooms on the top floor and they were much much nicer. Overall, I’d recommend the hotel as the staff were helpful (though a little slow at check-in), the area was not too far from most centrally locates attractions, and the rooms were nice.

Quite disappointing and overpriced for what we got
We felt that the description and picture of the hotel did not match the actual conditions. The room felt very tired and outdated. Our shower head was very loose and would fall over whilst in use. Our window would not close - and after telling the reception who tried to fix it, there was still a gap. This was an issue as the hotel is right next to a main road and some bugs bit us during the night. Although not of huge detriment to our stay, the walls had markings and the carpets were a bit dirty. The security guards at the front were very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel was great for exploring the city. Overall, just a bit let down by the description of the hotel.

Friendly staff, nice T.V, nice location nears the LRT and short distance walk to Chinatown and night food market; however, the room was outdated, the picture looks better than the actually room, lack of cleanliness as there was dust on the counter by the fridge, the bed was double not Queen size, shower and sink pressures were not good, toilet paper was thin, hand soap provided was small, air condition was not powerful and the lift was small.

2nd stay, room a little smaller than last time but my choice, very good staff any issue sorted out promptly, no need to chase up, good wifi, walking distance to china town 5 mins, and 10 mins to Changkat and street food in Alor, another couple of mins for shopping malls

Good location
Good location, few mins away from the ktr station (majid jamed ), walking distance to china town, central market, kasturi walk, river of life. KL tower can be seen from the hotel. The Petronas are also not far. Breakfast was not included but we paid for the breakfast buffet (12 rm = usd $4). It wasn’t that good but edible and cheap. 24 hour Convenience stores are nearby. Beds were comfy. Only thing that I didn’t like about the room was that the shower didn’t have a door.

great bcos of area since its really near the train station and theres also lots of convinent stores nearby. condition of the hotel was average since there was leakage from the ac. also when we requested for room service, our rooms werent made in the afternoon. if youre looking for a really ok so-so cheap budget hotel, you can come try here. the rooms were quite small as compared from the pictures.

Very pleased with the hotel and service
This is a top class litlle hotel if on a tighter budget, I was a little worried about traffic noise but was pleasantly surprised to find the rooms nice and quiet, Very Helpful staff, thank you for the early checkin. I am back in KL in Aug and have booked again. Easy to walk to the markets then pick up one of the gokl free buses at Pasar seni station and go to bukit bintang, taxi back to hotel after midnight about 10 - 12 myr.

This is my first bad review for a hotel. First thing, the staff are very friendly but that is about it. Indeed after one day we moved out to another hotel. The room was dirty, mouldy and with things not working. The aircon did not work correctly. Due to health reasons, we moved out.

Stay away!
This place was absolutely disgusting. I am a well versed traveller and in have never seen such a dirty room in my life. The bathroom was covered in dirt splatters and there was a dirty towel and loofah upon our arrival. I could have dealt with the bathroom, bad smell from the hallway, and decomposing ceiling, but what really casued me to have to leave and book another hotel were the hundreds of bugs crawling around the room. There was a cockroach and ant infestation, along with mutiple other bugs crawling all over the bed. We informed the front desk of the issue and they offered to change our room rather than refund us, as we asked. After seeing that room, there was no way we were going to stay at the hotel. I understand that ratings mean different things in different places, but hotels.com needs to be more vigilant about assessing a 3 star hotel's quality and cleanliness standards.
