Great location, close to grocery stores and restaurants and view from the window was beautiful. We found the bathrooms and shared kitchen wasn't super clean. Staff were lovely and friendly and helpful. Overall a good experience.

It is located at a perfect location. It’s a walkable distance from the old town, Kotor bay and Bus station. The view on the terrace is amazing. The place is always clean and you feel safe in the place it’s located in.

Great hosel

Amazing service, shared rooms are clean and comfy, WiFi was amazing, the bathroom is shared but clean and you’ve got everything you need, shower gel provided. Shared kitchen fully equipped with everything you need. The view from the balcony is amazing, literally across from Kamelija shopping centre and Voli supermarket.

The only issue I had was the owner did not contact me before I arrived to access the hostel So it took me about 80 minutes to check in. I had to ask the very nice ice cream lady next door to phone the owner on her mobile luckily people in Montenegro are generally very friendly and courteous and amenable. This is a hostel and I had my own room, but there is a very clean shared bathroom. It is located five minutes from the old town and is right on the beach with a fantastic view from the terrace . In summary, it’s about as decent a cheap pension can be if you don’t mine not having your own bathroom.

Great location,very close to town and beach. Say they have parking but don't. Need to park on the street with risk of getting towed. Bad that sayvtheyvhave parking but doesn't. Rather expensive given level of room. Same price as much nicer places in town. Missed thay dont have private bathroom. Parking provided are street parking!

This is a lovely guesthouse only about a 5 minute walk from old town, excellent view. The showers are very small but great water pressure. A bit tricky to checkin but overall a great spot and I would stay again

Step Up Hostel Kotor, super convenient and close to old town (5-10min stroll) really clean upon arrival and throughout. Facilities great. Shower cubicles are a little small, which presents a challenge after showering. But fully recommend for solo travellers.

BED BUGS!!! Stayed here September 21,2025, woke up 2 hours after going to sleep to find bed bugs in my bed. I was in a private room. The manager did refund me for my other 2 nights stay so I could move hotels. I would avoid this hotel

Bedbugs in our room. We booked a privat room, got nr 1 upstairs. Found multiple bedbugs behind the bed, on the bed and by the wardrobe. Got offered to to change to the other room nr 0. Just had to look for a second to find more bedbugs. According to reviews from the year it seems to be a big problem. I hope they fix it as it could be a good place. Not fun changing hotel at 23.00 but at least we got out money back

The location could not be any better. It is directly on the beautiful bay right next to a quiet restaurant with delicious food and al fresco dining. Our room view was the bay with boats and a cruise ship. The Fort and Old Town are a few minutes of walking from here. The host was responsive and helpful and the morning housekeeper was absolutely wonderful!. The other guests were quiet and polite. Stairs to the rooms, a shared bathroom and common area.are to be noted. It is outstanding in the “cleanliness “ rating.

Property was incorrectly listed, bathroom and balcony were shared and not private. Room was also listed at 25m2, but was actually no more than 9m2. While the manager apologized a lot and wanted us to enjoy our stay, ultimately no one from the property took any steps whatsoever to resolve the issue. Instead I had to spend 2 hours on the phone with hotels.com in the hope of finding a solution.

Around 10 mins walk from the old town and right next to the beach. It was Hard to find the entrance of the hostel when I arrived, and the phone number of the hostel on Expedia is incorrect, so I used the one on my front door to be able to check in. They provided a dirty towel with red stains, the shared bathroom is clean but they don’t bother cleaning the beds after someone leaves if no one is booking for the night so few beds were left untidy with some garbage on them from previous clients. The staff tries to be nice and mentions that you can text them with any problems or questions since they are not on premise but a couple of times when I did they replied the next day. They recommend places (probably their friends’) to you which I went to one of them that turned to have extremely rude staff that literally ruined the night, so don’t listen to their recommendations if you decided to stay there.

Parfait pour une ou deux nuits pour visiter Kotor. Nous avons trouvé des places de parking gratuites dans la rue ou aux environs. C’est une auberge de jeunesse avec salle de bains communes. La propreté était impeccable durant tout le séjour avec un nettoyage régulier des parties communes.

Dos días por placer y trabajo.

Buscaba un sitio con wifi y parking. Aparcar, el primer día, fue complicado; el siguiente ni tuve problemas. Merece mucho la pena y no sólo por sus vistas. Estaba impecable, era cómodo y me encantó. Lo recomiendo.
