"We had an excellent experience at Alokke. It is quaint from the outside but clean, comfortable and updated inside. Our room was comfortable, with 2 chairs and a desk, besides a very comfortable bed. We had an ensuite bathroom which was well stocked with just about anything you might need. I was not feeling up to going out for dinner with my husband and his family, so I stayed home. Ralu came to check on me and brought me a plate of delicious food for dinner. For breakfast the idea is that you make your own, choosing from fresh bread, eggs, cheese and meat, but the owner offered to cook our breakfast for us, and it was delicious. Ralu was so kind and we really appreciated that. If I were to come back to Nyborg and Denmark, I would definitely return. Thank you Ralu for a memorable stay."

"A sweet and comfortable condo right on the beach. It is well equipped and clean. The communication was good. There is no dryer, just a washing machine. "

"Let's talk about the positives first. There is one - location. Nestled in the middle of a farm. Quiet and peaceful. Loved the surroundings. Also, the check in was quick. The property itself is nothing to rave about. It's in desperate need of maintenance. Dust, spiders everywhere. TV doesn't work. Kettle leaks. Shower is super leaky and floods the bathroom. Half of the windows don't have blinds which means at 4 AM, it's filled with light. The hostess seemed nice initially but kept insisting we pay cash so she can avoid paying taxes and fees. This was not mentioned at the time of the booking. Hotels.com charged me 27% in taxes and fees and she seemed to want to pocket it. We didn't have cash and she offered to accept card for an additional 5% fee. Absolutely ridiculous for an already expensive stay. She finally grudgingly accepted the payment through card. Plus she has this bad habit of talking over you. Does not want to listen to you anything you have to say. Overall 2 star experience for 4 star prices. Wouldn't recommend."
