An amazing hotel. We were beyond happy. Beautiful grounds- the pictures seriously do not do it justice. The pool was fantastic and Sunny was extremely helpful. You can rent bikes from here too and they are super chill and the whole experience was fantastic. If we ever visit Koh Tao again, we will stay here! The room was absolutely perfect and had the comfiest bed.

Waking up to the singing of the birds, palm trees and lush forest. Very clean rooms. 5 stars for all. Area is tucked away from tourist hotspots, lots of local life to witness. Nearby beach is fantastic.

Reasonable for the price

Located in extensive grounds and within walking distance of bars and a beach, this place is a, good base for a stay on Koh Tao. The rooms are large and comfortable and the bathroom adequate with toiletries provided. The pool is a pleasant area with loungers, umbrellas and even a few kids toys, and the free pick up from the pier was appreciated. It would benefit from some upgrade and housekeeping and cleaning definitely needs improving, but it offers a pleasant stay for a reasonable price.

So pleased we stayed a at Woodlawn! - it’s a beautiful peaceful small resort set in lovely grounds and surroundings, the pool is gorgeous and we had it to ourselves most mornings! staff are fantastic and sunny was very helpful- picked us up and dropped us back to ferry which was great. Deluxe rooms are lovely with everything you need for a comfortable stay. There are lots of places to eat and drink around (within 5-10mins walk)so not sure why previous reviews say it’s away from everything- it’s not!!) beautiful chalok bay is 10mins away and easy to reach other beaches too- much preferred this area to Sairee which was very busy and more commercialised. What a fantastic place.

The property was calm and green, but as soon as you got off the property there was a busy street; where we had trouble crossing /participating with our scooter/bikes. The apartment was big enough, the seperate bedroom was nice, but the view was not nice (facing the roof of the hotel rooms). Although it is said upfront in the info, i totally missed the beach nearby on walking distance. For the tropical holiday feel i would totally book a beach resort next time. And also there is no restaurant/breakfast possibity in the venue. We had also al lot of problems with a smell of a septic tank in the badroom, but the problems were solved after a few days.

Quiet and calm place :)

It was a nice and quiet place to stay. we stayed at the villas. the doors and windows where not fully covered, so geckos, spiders and mosquito came inn to the apartment. there is a little walk to sentrum, so we rented a motorbike to get around the island. It was a clean apartment with a nice bathroom.

Overall it was okay. But the resort felt a little unfinished and the service wasn’t the most attentive. We had to wait 30min for somebody to check us in. We had a tv in our room but didn’t work. And the hot water wasn’t working either

Allt va perfekt

Vi bodde här 21 nätter och vi var så nöjda att vi bokade ytterligare 11 nätter otroligt bra ställe att bo på lungt och tryggt och nära till butiker och resturanger de har eget dykcenter och otroligt trevlig personal.
De har ett eget härligt polområde

La loi de la forêt...

Grande chambre tres propre, clim et ventilateur. Petites villas individuelles noyees dans la végétation. Scooters a louer sur place et transfert vers le port gratuit. La personne a la reception est formidable. Le cadre est apaisant, au milieu des cocotiers. Belle piscine tres propre. Un petit plus aurait ete de pouvoir prendre le petit dejeuner sur place.

Hotellet er meget rent. Mega flot udsigt. Ligger lidt væk fra byen. Hvis i er til fest og farver, vil jeg nok ikke anbefale stedet, da der er meget stille i den nærliggende by. Der er 6 liggestole ved poolen, og få parasoller. Vi blev krævet penge fordi vi var kommet til at tabe en flaske med vand (vi havde dog selv ryddet op efter det) - så vi havde lidt fornemmelsen af, at de ledte efter ting på værelset som var galt, da vi chekede ud. Hvis du er dårligt gående, er stedet ikke noget for dig, fordi man skal op af meget stejle bakker for at komme op til selve hotellet. Ellers et fint ophold.

Det gør vi gerne igen!

Vi var meget positivt overraskede da vi checkede ind. Værelset er rummeligt og dejligt lyst, med køleskab, tv, hårtørrer og andre praktiske ting. Der er daglig rengøring, som er rigtigt dejligt. Poolen her på stedet er ikke særligt stor, men den er perfekt at slappe af ved, da man kan ligge og lytte til naturen omkring en. Vi har nydt det. Min kæreste og jeg endte endda med at blive nogle dage ekstra, da det er et at de bedre steder vi har været.

Little hideaway

Great property that is about a 5 mins drive from ferry but a 25 min walk. It’s on the quiet side on the island- which we loved! We received a free upgrade upon arrival which was fantastic and very grateful. The room was spacious and bed was comfortable! A/C worked great. The owners and workers took great care of the property.

Excellent stay and customer service

Had a really good 4 night stay. From the time we arrived until the time we left the staff were helpful and friendly. We were upgraded to a villa as there was not any hot water in our superior room (we were told this upon arrival). The villa was clean, comfortable and made all the difference to our stay. My husband left his Bluetooth headphones in the bedroom and only realised when were on the catarmaran to Koh Samui. The staff were fantastic in getting them returned to us. They boxed them up and put them on the ferry and we picked them up from the port at Koh Samui the following day. Completely over and above normal customer service. We expected to return to Koh Tao to collect them. Big thanks to the staff - 6 star service.
