average accommodation.
the accommodation was average. the breakfast area, although very close to the beach, was too far away from our villa. there was a problem with plumbing and drainage which needs to be addressed. owners and staff were friendly, and were helpful with any problems.

Just the FACTS-no hot water-bad breakfast-beach OK
Facts: Upon check in the advertised bungalow on the beach we booked for 4 was meant only for 2 people, so they had to split us in two different rooms. One of the rooms they offered us for 4 was very far from the beach, about 7-10 min walk, so we chose the closer to the beach option. Bugs on pillows and sheet, NO HOT WATER for two days in the beach bungalow Mosquitoes were flying through the broken screen in the bathroom and we only noticed that two days later - after got bitten every night Dinner at reastaurant was pretty good. Breakfast was VERY limited. WiFi was OK. Bad service overall

An adequate place to stay.
Tonggad is an adequate place to stay. Most of the staff are very friendly and will do their best to help you out. The food in the restaurant is fine and at a good price, although breakfast is a bit limited. There are also several other restaurants in walking distance, including a very good pizza place. The main problem with the property is that it is a bit spread out and there is no real reception area, so if you need to seek assistance, it can take some time.

Wee book to villa 2 rooms but after one night we replace to one room near the beach it because it was very far from the beach and every things and there was a lot of ants. the beach is bad for swimming and we went to another beach (silver beach) for swimming the restaurant there very good

a great place!
owner was great, staff was nice, the beach wae clean and quite, the room we were offered were far and we did not even ask , the owner upgrded us to a diffrent one without hesitation...the spa lady was great, manicure and massage were the best! the only problem was the lack of masquito gear and nets in the room

Could not have asked for a friendlier more helpful staff they were great. It was low tide so there wasn't much of a beach food was pretty good hotel room was great but the beds are hard it's expensive to get around on the island could not have asked for a friendlier more helpful staff they were great. Brought toys from their home for my child to play with in the pool. Disappointed in our stay.
At arrival even the taxi driver did not know where to drop us for check in, after walking around the facilities we found someone to check us in. Felt more of an inconvenience to the owners than guests. The wifi was horrible even after asking many times and they restarted the router I think and it never was too reliable in the restaurant/pool area and never connected in our room. The menu at the restaurant was ok but could not be charged to room so we always had to bring money when lounging at the pool if requesting a beer. Bed broke on night 1.

Dåligt läge!
Vi bodde i en 2 sovrumsvilla med två toaletter. Själva villan var jättefin, stora och rymliga sovrum och 2 badrum. Inget att klaga på där! Men läget på denna resort är inte bra alls.. Ligger på en egen del av Lamai beach, stranden som nästintill är obefintlug vid högvatten är vid lågvatten stenig smutsig. Runt om på hotellet är där plankor, lampor med mera som är sönder och som i många fall innebär en stor skadorisk för små barn. Toaletterna vid restaurangen samt vid den stora poolen blir aldrig städade, i alla fall inte under den tid vi va där. Där finns ingen dusch vid av pool områdena vilket jag personligen tycker är en hygienfråga. Boendes på detta resort har man med gångavstånd närhet till 3 restauranger annars är det taxi som gäller. Personalen är dock väldigt vänliga och hjälpsamma!!!

Bra hotell för familj men lite för avsides
Mkt bra familje bungalow för oss med 3 barn. Helt ok att bo där men stranden var lite stening och smal. Dålig beläggning på hotellet, men det kan ju vara ok men kändes lite övergivet. Hotellet kändes som et hade sin bästa tid bakom sig, ambitioner som inte blev nåt av.

Lungt hotell med bra läge för mat och poolmys.
Bra läge, lungt och fint. Bra service och trevlig personal. Bra tillhörande restaurant med bra utbud och fin utsikt. Dessvärre inget vidare wifi.

Sängen va hard och varat rum va inte på stranden. Annars va alting super bra. Personalen är jätte trevlig och hjälpsamma. Rummen va stora men enkla. Restraungen är nog best i området med bra priser. Rekommenderar att stänna har.

Prachtige locatie met een prachtige kamer.
We hebben hier drie nachten overnacht en verbleven in een prachtige kamer. We hadden een prachtig uitzicht op zee en het was allemaal schoon. Het is wel aan te raden een scooter te huren omdat je wel buiten de bedrijvigheid zit. Al met al drie heerlijke dagen gehad!

I juli er der lavvandet og derfor ikke muligt at bade ved stranden. Lamai Beach i nærheden som er super lækker. Service på hotellet var helt i top. God restaurant på hotellet

Superbe lieu au calme
Nous sommes venus passer les vacances de Pâques à l'hôtel Samui Tonggad. Nous avons passé dix jours fabuleux, Dolly, la propriétaire est adorable. Elle a si répondre à chacune de nos demandes, nous a proposé des activités et nous a permis de partager de supers moments en famille. Le personnel est discret mais toujours disponible et serviable. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour et recommandons vivement cet hôtel qui est un lieu calme, idéal pour se reposer et pour les familles.

Vielen Dank für den schönen Aufenthalt!
Ich habe 4 wundervolle Tage in der schönen Hotelanlage verbracht. Die Lage des Resorts ist perfekt. Man kann vormittags gut mit dem Roller die Insel erkunden und Abends im sehr guten Hoteleigenem Restaurant speisen. Der Koch Lek ist einfach Spitze und erkundigt sich auch gerne persönlich bei den Gästen, ob es ihnen schmeckt. Die Hotelmanagerin Jaruwan und ihre rechte Hand Nina waren auch äußerst hilfsbereit. Generell haben alle Mitarbeiter bei mir einen sehr freundlichen Eindruck hinterlassen. Das Hotelzimmer war in einem guten Zustand und wurde auch unaufgefordert täglich einmal gereinigt sowie die Handtücher ausgewechselt. Alles in allem kann ich das Hotel jedem weiterempfehlen. Vielen Dank an das komplette Team!
