The location was very convenient if you are travelling by train. The room was small and lacking any comfort. The bed was against a wall so making it difficult to get out for older couples. The lighting was poor so that it was difficult to read a book, on one side there was no light at all. No kettle in the room and no cups so we could not make a hot drink.

Clean rooms, comfortable beds and pillows. It is a budget stay with bare rooms. No kettle. There was no curtain or window cover in the bathroom, while there were no closeby windows I was still a little concerned about people seeing in after a shower.

Cold breakfast but a large selection of cerial yogurt.tea/coffe bread cold meats anx cheese and fruits. Check in is 2pm because there its NO staff ar frknt desk... so if you get there early you can't leave your bag in storage and go exploring.. si me and the other big group that arrived in the dashed train had to go to the pub next door have lunch... then they wanted to go to the pub accross the road.. but 3 5hrs is a king time to wait..... very close to station which is handy.

This is by far the worst hotel we have ever stayed at. The front ‘desk’ is only open from 2pm to 10pm - just one very rude man hanging out key cards and unable/refusing to answer questions. For example the couple checking in before us asked where ‘old town Koblenz’ was, he answered, ‘dunno, I’m not from round here.’ When we reported the WiFi wasn’t working he shrugged his shoulders. (We ended up going into the bar next door and using their WiFi - though the manager wasn’t happy sharing his password, he said lots of people staying at the hotel used his WiFi.) We saw a very unhappy man (who was staying in the hotel) ask ‘the reception man’ why he didn’t have a fan in his room when his friend’s room did, he was told, ‘they must have paid more.’ When we did check in and were told our room is on the 4th floor, he nodded in the direction of the lift, ‘lift or stairs.’ The lift was very small and only just accommodated the two of us and our modest sized rucksacks. The hotel is about a 40second walk from the main station and so very noisy. The shower in our room took a very long time for the water to get slightly warm. The curtains were very thin and weren’t wide enough to cover either windows. You need an eye mask and ear plugs to sleep in this hotel. It is by far the worst place to stay.

The manager in charge was rude and if you had any questions wasn’t the nicest. The check in was at 2pm and we had to wait an hour for him to do the check in. The cleaning service was nice but the manager or whoever was in charge was terrible. I don’t recommend this place.

Der Herr an der Rezeption war sehr nett und hat mir alles wichtige erklärt. Das Zimmer war sauber und für einen kurzen Städtetrip ausreichend ausgestattet. Das Hotel liegt nah beim Bahnhof, die Innenstadt kann man fußläufig erreichen. Trotz Bahnhofsnähe war es nachts ruhig. Bei den Temperaturen wäre ein Kühlschrank schön gewesen. Aber für den kleinen Preis kann man natürlich nicht zu viel verlangen. Das Frühstück habe ich nicht genutzt, kann ich also nicht bewerten. Alles in allem war ich zufrieden und kann das Hotel weiterempfehlen.
