good stay
A bit far from anything so you will need a vehicle to visit other areas and beaches because the beach looks very bad. But there is a cool infinity pool! Nice restaurant and breakfast made to order.very good wifi. Very cool huts, very cozy, massive bathroom with separate shower but it was full of mosquitos, we killed like 15. Bet then we did not see any more. Very helpful staff, the 2 ladies in reception helped us with the motorbike, luckily they had a honda tricycle, easier than a motorbike as we've never drove one, they let us try some normal ones but the tricycle was super cool and much easier ans safer!

A paradise resort on a paradise island
I've been lucky enough to spend a few days in this cute resort during the low tourist season, meaning that there was only a few guests on the grounds besides us. It was very quiet and pleasant. The hotel staff was excellent very curteous and helpful. The restaurant serves nice food and it has a nice patio overlooking the sea. The resort is located in a secluded bay therefore it's a bit remote from the other restaurants and convenience stores on the island but it's not a problem if you like walking or biking. You can even rent a scooter from the resort staff. The garden view rooms are a bit small if you travel with more than 2 people or have a lot of luggage, but for two people it's all right. Beaches are small but clean. There is an old pier at the end of the resort where you can take romantic strolls and sit down at the edge of the water for some stargazing at night. There are a few beautiful kitties around the hotel, they'll make you nice company if you're friendly towards them.

Cons: uncomfortable pillows and pretty small rooms, not a lot of choices for food at or around resort, average breakfast at best Pros: Very quiet and private beach, nice pool, great and friendly staff, motorbike rental and taxi service on site

Herrlich ruhige Anlage mit Blick aufs Meer. Sehr erholsam. Personal immer hilfsbereit. Schwimmen im Meer geht dort nicht aber der Pool ist wunderbar mit Blick in die Landschaft. Für die anderen Strände und Restaurants in Koh Mak braucht es einen Scooter. Würde es wieder buchen.

พักผ่อนชิวๆ
ที่พักสงบเงียบ พนักงานดูแลดีมาก อาหารอร่อยมากๆ โดยเฉพาะลาบปลา (แนะนำให้ทาน) การเดินทางก็ไม่ลำบาก การขับรถกลางคืนก็ต้องระวัง เพราะ ทางเข้าเป็นโค้ง น้ำทะเลใสมากๆ

You get what you paid for
This is an ok hotel, but you get what you pay for. But the location is really awesome, so I would recommend it for one or two night if you aren’t planning on spending a lot of time in the room.

Enligt Hotels.com så ska det finnas två restauranger. Vad vi kunde se så hade den ena inte vart öppen på länge, helt igenbommad, den andra hade öppet vissa tider för frukost/lunch/middag. Vill du göra något annat än ligga vid poolen måste du hyra en moppe eller ta taxi. Det finns inga andra restauranger inom gångavstånd. Det funkar inte nått bra att bada i havet då stranden är obefintlig och vattnet är leraktigt.

It was a super positive surprise when we arrived in the Buri Hut Resort. When booking the room we did not expect much because of the good (low) Price we got for our room (every room has the same size, small concrete and cozy Bungalow). But the complete Resort is in a very good condition and the rooms has everything you Need. Breakfast can be booked additionally and it was always good. The hosts/personell is SUPER friendly and they also pick you up and send to the peer if you like. We will come back again for sure!

Supernöjda!
Jag och en till kompis (21 år gamla) bodde på Buri Hut i 3 nätter och trivdes jättebra. Sängarna var jättesköna, det var bra air condition och allt var fräscht. Det ingick frukost på morgonen och den var inte heller något att klaga på! Personalen på resorten var jättetrevliga och serviceminded dom också, hjälpte till med karta över ön och ringde taxi åt oss hela tiden. Vi var mycket nöjda med detta som ett av stoppen på vår backpack-resa!

Lieu éloigné de tout. A partir de 16 h plus de personnel excepté à l'accueil. Débauche à 16 h et plus de chauffeur donc plus de taxi pour se rendre au port. Pas de restauration après 14h et 21h, Quand je suis arrivée j'ai attendu plus d'une heure l'arrivée du taxi de l'hôtel. Restauration pas à la hauteur service idem, personnel pas formé et tenue vestimentaire négligée. Gros potentiel très mal exploité et géré. Mobilier plastique sur terrasse des chambres très sales et ne s'intègre pas à l'environnement. Pourquoi ne sont-il pas en bambou qui respecteraient le lieu. Plage inexistante et pas entretenue.....La personnel excepté à l'accueil, ne parle pas un mot d'anglais difficile de se faire comprendre et peu accomodant. Très déçue d'avoir réservé 5 nuits et d'être obligée de rester dans ce lieu.

Upea saari, hotelli on remonttia vaille. Ja sijainti kaukana, ilman skootteria ei pääsisi mihinkään. Huonolla maulla tehty venäläistyylinen hotelli. Tulee neuvostoaika mieleen. Aamiaisessa on toivomisen varaa.

Отличный отель, приятная територрия, утопающая в зелени. Чистые, уютные бунгало, красивый вид. С прирса позвонили в отель - в течение 5 мин организовали бесплатный трансфер. На ресепшене русский молодой человек - все показал и рассказал. Далековато от цивилизации, пешком не выйти, только на байке, но дорог на острове практически нет, нужно быть очень опытным водителем. В 10 вечера все закрывается, так что успевайте выпить и покушать)) но так по всему острову. Море есть, но купаться желания в нем нет, однако отличный бассейн компенсирует неудобства. Если ищете тихое местечко, не требовательны к пляжу и готовы к мотоприключением - то отель для вас.

Buri Hut is pretty far from everything and a moped or a Bicykle is necessary. The beach is horrible, The restaurang is ok. The bungalows has no wifi if they are to far from The restaurant.

Långt till annan restaurang. Serverades frukost först kl 08:30, lunch 12-14 o middag efter kl 18, Mao begränsat. Ön koh muuk tog vi oss runt via moppe några dagar o här finns två fina stränder.

Godt til prisen
Hotellet er fint, måske det største på Koh Mak. Det ligger flot lige ud til vandet og med udsigt til Koh Kood. Stranden er ikke så god, men der er en dejlig svømmepøl. Man kan leje en scooter eller tage en taxa (tager 10 min.) så er man ved øens lækre strande. Personalet er søde og hjælpsomme. morgenmaden er fin. Værelserne fejler ikke noget, men hotellet kører noget som minder om smølfetema. Men det er selvfølgelig smag og behag. Så alt i alt fint til prisen.

Les bungalows etaient agreables avec une vue magnifique sur la mer. Ils etaient eloignes de tout, absence de plage, le peu qu'il y avait n'etait pas entretenu, Les horaires et la carte du restaurant ne donnaient pas envie d'y aller. Si vous arriviez a 20.00 tout etait ferme. Dommage, tres belle piscine, bel endroit, mais tres mauvaise gestion commerciale de l'endroit.

Wunderschöne Anlage mit Rundbungalows.
In einer naturbelassenen Anlage befinden sich ca. 30 wunderschöne Rundbungalows. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Man wird kostenfrei vom Pier abgeholt und auch dort wieder hingebracht. Leider spricht nur der Hotelmanager und die Madam Tuc englisch, was aber zu keinem Problem führt, da das restliche Personal sehr bemüht ist, sofort zu helfen und nach Dolmetschern sucht. Die Anlage ist sehr sauber und die Zimmer werden täglich gereinigt sowie die Handtücher gewechselt. Am Swimmingpool liegen extra Badehandtücher bereit. Auch das Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche übrig, sowie das Restaurant verfügt über thailändische und internationale Gerichte zu einem humanen Preis. Der Ausflug auf die Insel Koh Kham ist absolut empfehlenswert. Auch kann man im Hotel direkt einen Roller ausleihen. Madam Tuc kümmert sich um alles. Wer lieber Action will Ist hier fehl am Platz. Hier ist relaxen mit viel Ruhe angesagt.

Отель очень милый, приятный. подкупает своим заботливым персоналом, который старается помочь тебе и угодить. Еще большим плюсам считаю должным подчеркнуть, что в отеле есть своя территория( бассейн достойный, бар, немного советский, ну да ладно; беседки, на которых можно посидеть послушать сверчков). Минусы- плохой собственный пляж: мелко, желто-красный песок.но если возьмете скутер, этих неудобств и не заметите, до нормального пляжа минут 10,собственно к этой теме и удаленность от всех кафе, так называемого " центра" острова.

Hyggelig og fint hotell på Koh Mak
Veldig hyggelig og trivelig hotell. Serviceinnstilt og hjelpsomt personale. Rommene er helt greie, nye madrasser mens vi var her, så veldig myke og gode senger. Beliggenheten er ikke super og hotellstranden er ikke så fin, men hotellet har rimelig scooterutleie, så man kommer seg til både fin strand, butikker og restauranter på fem minutter. Fint bassengområde, og bra restaurant på hotellet. Anbefales for alle, kanskje med unntak av småbarnsfamilier.
