"This hotel gets 4star because of the creaking noise from wooden floor as someone walks. It probably reflects the century old construction! But otherwise it’s been a pleasant stay. Be prepared to expect a very very .. remote building out of nowhere! The nearest habitable building is few miles away ..."

"Really loved out stay at Little Mell Fell. Great instructions to find it. Set up really well for either a couple or a family of 4. Love that it's pet friendly. Was really clean and felt relatively recently done. The location was great to get around Ullswater and out to the surrounding lakes."
