We had an excellent stay at The Water Street Inn. The location is amazing to walk across the 2 bridges into Portsmouth, or into the small area in Kittery for restaurants and bakery. The inn has everything you will need from snacks, coffee, tea, and water. It was obvious the owners pay attention to detail and take pride in their property. When a phone charger was mistakenly left behind in the room it was no problem to reach out and they found it and we arranged to have it sent to us. Would recommend The Water Street Inn!

I loved my stay at the Water Street Inn in Kittery, Maine. This charming boutique hotel blends historic character with modern comfort perfectly. The rooms were beautifully decorated, and clean. The location is ideal, right on the water with beautiful views and just a short walk to Portsmouth’s shops and restaurants. Check-in was seamless, and I appreciated the thoughtful touches like complimentary coffee, tea, and snacks available anytime. Overall, it’s peaceful, welcoming, and feels like a hidden gem. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay on the Maine coast.

Felt like home with nice chairs on front porch, and coffee , water, fridge accessible. Although there were other guests, we felt like we were the only ones there (quiet). Also, just a beautiful property and walkable to Portsmouth for the Halloween parade. Loved our stay!

Charming Inn on the seacoast

We love this inn. It is perfectly situated minutes away from all the great restaurants in Kittery and a short walk from downtown Portsmouth. We have stayed here twice and each time our room has been lovely; cozy, clean and full of charm. The lobby area is always stocked with snacks, coffee/tea and juices. It is a very special place and we will definitely return. The perfect spot for a relaxing mini vacation on the seacoast.

Stayed in one of the attic rooms and would recommend but not to very tall people as the sloped wall can get in the way. Overall fantastic stay, staff were helpful and free tea/coffee and snacks were very handy. Parking is easy and very walkable into Portsmouth, 15ish minutes across the bridge. Would recommend and stay again.
