Perfect stay outside Edinburgh

Wonderful stay at theEarl David Inn. The staff are friendly and helpful. The dinner we ate in the restaurant was delicious. Our room was beautiful, clean, quiet and comfortable . The view from the window was so lovely!

Fantastic service very friendly staff. Room cleaned every day and the big bonus was the Shimla restuarant which is part of the hotel. Food was out of this world

Little gem outside Edinburgh.

Located about hour and a half bus ride from Edinburgh. Countryside Inn type of accommodations with rooms on the top floor and Nepalese/Indian restaurant downstairs. We were staying in a family room with 2 kids. Very clean, spacious updated bathroom, comfortable beds. Complimentary water, tea and instant coffee in the room. Super quiet at night. So we were able to get a good night rest. Restaurant downstairs is absolutely amazing! We ate there both nights. Highly recomend!

The four people bedroom is absolutely reasonable for a family. Our children is already at their teenage, but the room doesn’t seem to be too small. We were arranged with a room with beautiful scenery facing the fields and windmills. The bed and sheets were clean. The shower was good and strong. What’s more you can ask at that price! We have tried the Nepalese restaurant and the food was unexpectedly delicious and the service was very good.

extremely quiet inside and out, rooms very clean. nice big bathroom with essentials, staff friendly, tv the channels didn't work. when using the smart services couldn't use wifi as it wasn't working and no information on how to connect it. just used our hotspot instead. will use again

The property was decent. The smell from the Nepalese restaurant was very apparent in our room. The beds were hard and pillows were lacking. Our room had a double and two twins and the room was to small for that amount of beds, barely enough room for our luggage.

on our second night, there was a water leak going down on the ceiling, keeping us awake as the fire alarm was going off. me and my partner had to wait until 10 am until somebody came and stopped it, and this all started at 1 am. on top of that, they double charged us. Both my partner card and i. yes, they changed the rooms and it was a bigger room, but the Internet didn't even work, and it was way too hot in there.
