"As a solo female traveler, I opted for this beautiful hotel in Glenrothes. It was centrally located to all things on my itinerary, and was very affordable for my, almost, two week stay! The hotel staff was the most welcoming staff I have ever witnessed, and it truly made all of the difference for my first big trip! The hotel has an option for continental breakfast, or you can request a full Scottish breakfast cooked as well! They have a restaurant right downstairs, and a bar to accompany that...

"This is a beautiful hotel with lovely grounds and outdoor seating. Very friendly welcome from reception on arrival. A big room and spacious bathroom with large walk in shower. Very comfortable huge bed. Lovely high tea in restaurant. Nice lounge and bar where we enjoyed a drink and played pool and darts. A novelty for our 2 grandchildren. "Nice hotel with a great location near Carnegie Hall, Dunfermline Abbey, the park and other businesses. Nice staff and good restaurant. The rooms were fine but a person has to understand older hotels don't have elevators in many instances, so plan for that."

"It’s an older hotel, the other side of the bridge from Edinburgh so cheaper by miles. It’s decent with plenty of parking. Bar is open 24 hours in the foyer. Breakfast was decent hot and cold buffet style. Would stay again."

"The room was very spacious, especially as I had an unplanned injury before attending which resulted in my requiring a wheelchair. Despite the cleaners entering the room every day minus 1 where we chose not to have it cleaned, the room was not cleaned at all. Beds were always remade but that was it. No fresh toilet rolls, towels, water or tea/coffee. Just beds remade. The bar was lacking beer the whole time we were there and the breakfast was not a £15pp worth of food quality or quantity.
