"A couple bits of the room cleaning were unfortunately missed, and the breakfast left a lot to be desired. The listing mentions that the venue will be playing loud music, but I would’ve expected a bit more effort in soundproofing the rooms. I would not recommend this venue to anyone who doesn’t feel like sleeping one single-glazed window away from unrestrained club bangers until 3am and all the drunken revelries you would expect. "The staff were helpful and the room was excellent - clean, well furnished, with good courtesy tray, easy to operate TV, an excellent shower in the bathroom. The only slight criticism was of the very limited choice of breakfast cereals - just rice krispies and coco-pops. Please offer muesli, Weetabix, shredded wheat etc. for those of us who prefer something more grown-up and fibrous !"

"Good price, parking was a good perk, and staff were all helpful and friendly. However the hotel looks very tired - my room had broken fixtures & sockets, ripped dated furniture, and no hot water in the morning. The bar had ants crawling over trays & cat vomit on the carpet. I wasn’t expecting luxury for the price but it was a bit grim"

"We had a lovely weekend at Arden House. Lucie organised everything with so much attention to detail and care that being there felt like a cosy home. We even received a welcome card and chocolate Easter eggs every time the room was cleaned. The location was also great, just a five-minute walk from the castle. The rooms were spotlessly clean. I would highly recommend staying there!"

"Great location. Inflexible menu on the day so had to eat elsewhere no accommodation La were made for us. Clean room But many hairs in the bedding inbetween mattress protector or bottom sheet. Attention to detail would be worthwhile and signs on other guests doors to ask them to be mind full not letting doors slam in the morning would be helpful."
