While it is old, our room was extremely clean and the bed was very comfortable. It is easily accessible. The owner was very pleasant and helpful.

My friend and I spent 3 nights at the Hilltop Motel and love it. Staff was fab, many thanks to Brenda for arranging a hair appointment for me from Rose. ( she came in on her day off) Room was clean , supply coffee , we even BBQ on the last night as we were tired of restaurant food. Overall an excellent place to go ,,,, will be back when Kingston is calling.

Obviously an older property but the rooms are very clean and have been updated. Not fancy but perfect for an overnight stay. The people in the office are friendly as well as the maintenance man. Check in was easy and fast. The only criticism was the registration form- it needs to be bigger and easier to read.

Felt like home...

Had been staying here once a year before Covid. Now hope to do again. Always able to work around my sensitivities to certain things. Super friendly staff. Even has a hair salon on site. This year I was fortunate to be in a newly updated room. Felt like home. Hope to continue my yearly stays again. Very central to all my friends and needs.

the rooms were very clean. The towels are minimal with only 2 bath towels and two washcloths, no hand towels. The little window air conditioner barely keep the room cool enough

Our room was SO clean! This was exactly what a budget motel should be. Nothing fancy, common areas/exterior a lower priority than the rooms, which were renovated post-covid. Bedding was new, comfortable, and so very clean. Window A/C unit worked well, and the manager made a point to turn it on before our arrival. Despite hallmarks of an older property (e.g. layers of paint in spots), everything in our room was spotless, even areas generally overlooked like behind doors and in a small crevice beside the sink. An easy drive to town and the lake…we will definitely return!

The room was clean and the bed comfortable but the price for a very old drive up motel was way out of proportion to what it was. Wasn’t anything near a super8 or other affordable hotel/motel and was twice the price. I think that it was inflated for the long weekend and moving kids into university but absolutely ridiculously high prices.
