I recently stayed at Stone Creek Hotel and had a wonderful experience. The room was clean, well-maintained, and comfortable, and the staff were extremely helpful and welcoming throughout my stay. Overall, everything was well taken care of, and I was very satisfied with my stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel .

Our stay at here was absolutely wonderful. We arrived well after the check in hours and the staff were kind enough to help us out with the check in at almost 11PM. Our room was clean, and well supplied. We were especially impressed with the quality of both breakfast and dinner. Traveling with a toddler can be challenging, but their willingness to accommodate all of our requests (specific brand of cereal, flavor of juice etc etc the usual toddler things lol) made our trip so much easier. It’s in a great location too and that makes accessing the park super convenient. Highly recommend!

This is a nice basic property, with a somewhat limited kitchen for non-breakfast items. No AC, but in the evening a cool breeze cools down the room nicely. A room on the parking lot side can be noisy. The staff are excellent and caring, going far beyond expectations! Close to the Stony Creek, which is an excellent place to go exploring. Lots of trails nearby, including ones to the Stony Creek campground. GAs on the property is not exorbitantly priced, a pleasant surprise.

Location was fantastic 20mins to either Sequoia or Kings Canyon visitor centers, room was very clean but sparse, could have used a Table and a Mini-fridge. Lodge had a onsite store and small pizza restaurant as well as a gas station.

Great thing about this lodge is that it is inside the park. Also, there is a gas station on the property. The amenities are super basic. The breakfast can be made better with little effort. The bananas were ripe and black! The rooms are good. The staff are friendly.

First off. Location location location. We needed a place inside the park so we chose this place. My bad for not checking more closely —it’s a 1940’s building running off a generator; so no A/C. It was pretty hot while we were there. It finally cooled off in our room about midnight when the gas truck pulled in to refill the pumps. The staff was helpful in answering my many questions and getting us a bucket of ice. Also no mini fridge so don’t plan on keeping anything cold unless you’ve got a cooler. Little to no choices for dining-pizza, wings, salad. My gluten free hubby ended up buying a frozen tamale for dinner. We did not get to eat breakfast as they don’t open up til 730 and we had to get on the road to Crystal cave, so no experience with that. We did enjoy going on a jaunt behind the property down to stony creek with rock slides. Did catch a hiker washing himself and his clothes 😳 so if you don’t mind being hot and not having a lot of food choices, this could be the place for you!

Very rustic. What they don’t tell you is they run completely off grid. Electricity is so so no hot water. Mattress needed replaced many years ago. No AC or working heat, WiFi was iffy but worked most of the time. Whole place is run down and tired. Severely scratched annd broken furniture, old worn blankets etc Only food available is the pizza and it was just ok. The breakfast was good. Staff all seemed new. The linen order hadnt arrived when we were checking in and they didn’t know when it would. Other staff I asked questioned from both stated they didn’t know they were “new” for the price they charge seems ridiculous. we left a day early and wouldn’t stay again.
