"Stayed here during the summer, breakfast was great, we were given a menu and a choice of continental selection. Breakfast cooked fresh so we booked again. "This hotel far exceeded our expectations it was more like a mini resort and wished we could have stayed longer than the 3 nights.. perfect for exploring the local attractions and only 40-45mins to Alton Towers. The room we had was a 2 bed apartment in the main building, which was much bigger than the photos. The amenities were awesome and there’s a range of free activities and entertainment that was put on whilst we were there. The staff were also amazing, we will be back for sure :-)"

"Beautiful old main building and well constructed new wing that blended seamlessly with the old main Hall. However, due to the layout and lack of lifts it meant a really long walk from our room to the main reception area. The Hotel seemed to have a lack of staff - the very nice mature lady at reception, was multitasking and ended up carrying our bags up to the room. This staff shortage manifested itself later when we went to have dinner - to be told that the gas was off in the kitchen and...

"I love the property , room and staff so much .Everything was perfect except lift bec going up and down to 3rd floor with bags is difficult but going up the lovely staff help me to take my luggage but coming down it’s hard but overall it’s was perfect and bed is really comfortable.I really liked it and going back next wk again"

"Apart from a few items on the carpet which suggested incomplete vacuuming and some difficulty filling the kettle (awkward with the tap system) no complaints at all. Large room, wide single beds, plenty of storage and well stocked bathroom, complete with a bath which I hadn't expected. Check in was straightforward and hotel grounds were very well maintained and attractive."
