"We were there during the weekend when the town held a special event about mountain bike. Luckily, the hotel was out of the city centre, so the night was peaceful and quiet. The room was spacious. Only one particularly dislike was that from the bathroom window, the afternoon sun was so strong that we could have got sunburn sitting on the toilet. And there was no curtain on bathroom window. Well, it was a very unusually sunny that day. "

"It provides basic accommodation, which was all we required for an overnight stay, while walking the Great Glen Way. I would not choose the Ox for a longer stay, but the chalet was clean and reasonably well appointed and the staff were friendly."

"There were not enough fans on property to accommodate all of the rooms, which is unfortunate and extremely uncomfortable on a warm evening. The windows were open to try and let cool air in which brought bugs into the room. Otherwise, the rooms were generally clean and most of the staff were friendly. Breakfast was ok. If you’re a coffee lover, go elsewhere. The town is quite charming as well."

"Treetops has 5 stars not because it’s the most beautiful location and room ever (it totally is), but the hosts are the most lovely people you will meet in all of Scotland. What an amazing time we had here. The room was gorgeous, the views were perfect and it had everything we could have ever wanted + needed.
