"The hotel was nice. The food at the Brassels was better than the Cruzerie (?). The hotel was pet friendly. The rooms were a great size and comfortable. Unfortunately, we couldn't do much as you have to book everything in advance. We were not aware that you had to plan ahead."

"Great location, lovely staff and fantastic breakfast. Room was a little dated, but full of all the amenities you would expect - kettle, TV, hair dryer, ironing board etc. The bathroom was well stocked with shower gel, shampoo etc and having a bath was a welcome bonus too! "Clare was amazing from the start. The check in process was very smooth. We had a lot of space, the fittings were of high quality but the sofa and carpet could do with being replaced. "I don’t remember seeing anything about having to park a distance from the lodge and therefore having to carry luggage in the rain up a hill. Also I had presumed electric was included but we had to put £1 coins in the meter. All the cutlery, some of the plates and pans were dirty"
