Khazali canyon or Jabal Khazali is of importance in Wadi Rum desert, because it is an area where water collects in this region and hence considered blessed and holy since age old. Once you enter the narrow fissure of the canyon you will find inscriptions and rock art of 3 different types: South Safaitic, Thamudic E Inscriptions or Hismaic, the Arabic inscriptions in the Kufic scripts, and finally petroglyphs that depicts flora and fauna of the region. #wadirum #landoffables #arabiandesert #History
