Booked this hotel as I was taking my dog and this was listed as pet friendly. There was no information on Hotels.com about surcharges before, during or after booking. Upon arrival I was informed by the hotel I had to pay an additional 400 thb per night for having a dog. There was not a sign or notice to state this anywhere, so this increased the hotel cost by an extra 30% which if I knew before, I wouldn't have chosen.
The room was very small and had a dangerous step into the bathroom which resulted in a few injuries! The room was not clean, and even the bed sheets were dirty. There were very basic amenities (a coffee sachet, a shower cap, and some toilet paper!) and not even drinking water provided.
After spending a long day out in Khao Koh, we arrived back to the room to find it had not been cleaned at all. When we asked, the staff said they only had one key for the room and so if we wanted to have it cleaned we should have given them the key when we left! We also had water and electricity cut off periodically from time to time. This was very poor, especially after having demanded I pay extra for the dog!
Before I complained, I received a message from the hotel apologizing for inconvenience and offering 10% discount on my next stay... So they knew already they were going to give a bad service and tried to bribe me to not complain.
I highly recommend to stay away from this resort!

Good environment but not good sevice
I reserved one room for 2 adults and 1 kid but hotel informed that no extra bed for my son. Then I must complaint with website agency by myself because owner hasn't contact number. Normally I reserved the room before stay more than 10 days. Why don't book every command before check in? Visitors need to check in and tell requirement when arrive or not? Seem owner don't focus with requirement of customer.
