"Our 4 night stay was excellent. Our room was clean, spacious, and quiet. Breakfast was OK, usually eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy, bagels, English muffins, cold cereals, waffles, etc. The hotel is within a short walk (less than 5 minutes) to several restaurants, shopping and the 1880 train depot. Very safe walk, very well lit. Mt Rushmore was less than a 10 minute drive. The Comfort Inn was the perfect location for exploring several of the attractions in the area. We would definitely...
"The 5 stars is for the front desk lady in the morning. She's warm and welcoming. I hesitated about the tunnels at Needles Highway but with her warm assurance, I drove one of the memorable drives in Custer State Park. Needles Eye wasn't as narrow as I thought. The motel and the room were dated. I personally don't like beds with those old school coverings. That said, I would stay there again. The motel is in a very convenient location; virtually at the foot of Mount Rushmore. Restaurants...
"The motel was clean and quiet. Numerous food options at the other end of the parking lot. Within walking distance of attractions, restaurants, shops, displays, and things to do. In addition, it was the cheapest place I could find but did not sacrifice quality. A welcome surprise."
