"Love staying here when we go to clearlake 5 minutes from everything clean hotel. Nice check in easy. Love the pool and hot tube very clean pool area always we have probably stay 20 times over the years never disappointed. Beds are on the firmer side and no elevator if you cant do steps ask for main floor when you book its not a ton of stairs though"
"As another review said: don’t like the name turn you away. It was an overall great experience. When we checked in the owner was very welcoming and nice, comfy beds (pillows aren’t the best), very clean but in general the hotel is slightly outdated and things need updated but it comes with time. It was very quite, not far from gas station and other accommodation’s- we traveled to galena after staying and it was a quick trip there. I would stay again! "

"We really enjoyed the whole vibe. The bar was a bit pricey, but has an amazing feel. It served us very well as a home base in our stay in Galena, and had us within short drives to all the places we wanted to visit. Potosi, Dubuque, Effegy Mounds and of course downtown Galena. "
"My teen daughters and I like to visit Dubuque a couple times of year for the change of scenery from the quad cities. We started back when they loved the waterpark- now we just go To shop and enjoy a meal. This inn provides everything we need including a small indoor pool to entertain us and keep us overnight. "
