"For property that was opened up in the 1800s, there are modern conveniences and amenities. Location is perfect, the staff is friendly and nice, and the spa is over the top. The building is very old, but everything else gets an A+ plus. there was a concert of instrumental musicians in the lobby on the night that I arrived, which was extraordinary."

"Overall, very good. The location is great. South of Killarney, so if you want to be in the middle of pubs and restaurants and such, this may not be the place for you, but we loved that we could walk to Muckross Abbey, and that we were right by the lake and Torc Waterfall with short drives. They offered free bike rental, which I'd have loved if we had more time. The staff were very friendly. Both the person who checked us in, and the one who checked us out, were super-friendly, and were quick...
