"Other than some really persistent construction noise at all hours this was an ideal stay."

"There were only 2 pillows on each bed. There was only one small garbage can in the room. It was located in the bathroom. No lotion was provided. We had three guests and only one washcloth and hand towel. There was a dirty washcloth in the middle of the hall that remained there during out stay, making us wonder about the housekeeping in general."

"This little lodge is a wonderful place to stay. It is about 5 minutes outside of the main streets of Seward helping avoid the crowds of other tourist from the cruise ships. The lodge is quiet, comfortable with a salmon bake resturaunt on the grounds. We made some last minute changes to our trip plans and the lodge went above and beyond with accommodating us. Can't recommend this place enough!"

"The room was very dated and cramped. Lack of ceiling fan was a negative, as it was cold outside and hot inside. Very noisy as well-loud sounds every time someone above us walked or ran water. No coffee in the lobby and the machines in the rooms are the sorriest I've seen in many years of travel. Would recommend staying elsewhere."

"The property was in good shape for its age. Felt like a throwback to the 70’s in a good way and was well maintained and very clean and spacious. The view from the room was awesome allowing us to see sea otters, bald eagles and various sea birds. We only ate one meal at the hotel during our stay which was breakfast. It was a buffet and had great choices. We never made it to the workout room or hot tub as we were too tired from our excursions. It was suggested you make a reservation for use of both of these amenities as there is limited space. Great location at the very end of the Homer spit with lots of history you could read about on the walls of the hallways. Plenty of towels and good water pressure. Great mattress in a king suite. Would stay at Landsend again if I make it back to AK"
