"Friendly and helpful staff"

"We always stay in this hotel when visiting the area. We have tried others, but always regret not coming to this one. The rooms are lovely, clean and well maintained, the staff are warm and friendly, the food is delicious, and there is parking on site. It is always a pleasure to stay here."

"A lovely clean comfortable double room with access to snacks, tea and coffee, fresh milk and treats on every floor. Chilled water was free from reception. Breakfast was excellent with a choice of continental and cooked. All the staff were superb and very helpful. We will definitely stay again and highly recommend all at a reasonable price."

"The Bathroom Floor needs new Tiles. The Bath needs a new Shower Screen. The Bath needs a quality Bath Panal. The Toilet needs a better quality toilet Seat. The Bedrooms need a portable Fridge Cooler. Restaurant evening Meals are not available certain days. Reception Staff rarely answer the telephone."

"Very clean, really beautiful studio. Just be aware if on rooms 11 or higher you are on the 2nd floor and staircase is a bit tricky "

"Parked just around the corner. Received a very warm welcome. We walked a couple of minutes and caught the tram straight to the university of Sheffield. "

"Hotel was clean and nice My tv didn’t work and asked for it to plugged in properly Foond out they had fitted new ones and no one had the expertise to connect the Ariel So even though I checked in Tuesday and left Friday they still couldn’t get it fixed My colleague booked in and they gave her a room and key card then said it was cancelled which was a bit weird and the succeeded in re booking her the same room"

"The bedroom was clean, cool and comfortable, with a very good Freeview television unlike other hotels in Sheffield! The bathroom was very clean with a powerful shower, although the flush on the loo needed a lot of strength. The pool was clean and staff very helpful, with generous towel width. Noise was a factor as even early on Sunday morning there seemed to be a live band nearby. Breakfast was less than ideal with no gluten free options, table spoons given to eat cereal with and only fried...

"AVOID! On arrival we got our keys from the keylock which was a simple process. When entering the apartment it completely stunk of cigs and w - as if people had been in there for days smoking. Even aside from the foul smell the place is very run down, lots of marks and stains on the walls etc. The glass hob surface had a large chip/crack on it which you could easily cut yourself of. A number is given to contact and says it's staffed until 8pm. We arrived about 8:30 but messaged basically...

"When we checked in late on Wednesday evening, the gentleman who assisted us was excellent. He was very helpful, explained everything clearly, and made us feel welcome. He was truly brilliant. However, our experience at breakfast the following morning around 9:30am was very disappointing. There was very little breakfast available, only a few croissants left, and there was no coffee or tea. When we asked a member of staff about plates, we were told there were none available and that we should use...

"For the price and not bad location. However the bed wasn't that we were going for. We felt something bitting our skin all night, probably the mites."

"Good value hotel room. Would maybe be good to provide the same number of towels as people the room was booked for. Otherwise no complaints."

"Such a weird place. The bathroom must of had 6 bars in it. One of which was just under the shower head, meaning your body was either against the cold metal bar or the curtain stuck to you. There was a sign in the room stating that you needed to close the bathroom door while showering or you would set off the fire alarm with steam. Glad this was a one night experience."
