"You need to understand what is a capsule hotel. Even though it looks a bit weird, it does exactly what it is made for. Giving you a place to sleep, dry and clean. The commodities are shared by all the customers, so you have to expect some flaws. Not because of the staff… they were always vacuuming the carpet and answering all the customers but this place bring a lot of weird persons and some don’t clean after them. I really enjoyed that place."

"Shibuya, it turns out, is kinda dirty. As in, there are piles of garbage on the sidewalks in the morning, and they attract birds. And they're gross. But be that as it may, this place was a nice stay. On the up-side, the staff was lovely (and spoke English). On the down-side, the bathroom floor was kinda filthy and the bed wasn't very comfortable, but I slept on top of the bedding they gave me and it made it pretty comfortable. And I don't think there was a single TV in the hotel. Ah well,...

"Literally a five minute or less walk from Ebisu station, which was definitely nice and convenient. The staff here were what really made the stay special. It's a capsule hotel, so I obviously didn't expect like MUCH but the staff at the front desk were always so kind and welcoming and offered to help with bags and whatnot. I will say the ONLY downfall was that to get to the hotel you HAVE to climb one flight of stairs (no elevator) and when you have a lot of big luggage that can be challenging....

"Check in was very easy even as a customer unable to speak Japanese. I showed my Expedia booking and passport and given keycards and a rules guideline. Locker room/bathrooms/showers accessed via the elevator to base floor (men). It is well maintained and organized. "This was both my first time in Japan and my first time in this kind of stay. I had heard about the pod hotels of Japan and was interested in trying one. I stayed at this location for six nights and I really enjoyed it! The staff was all friendly and the place was pretty clean and relaxed. I had no issues whatsoever. Will recommend "

"Very cute Onsen room that was really nice, the capsules are spacious and comfortable- the people in my room were noisy all night and so didn’t get much sleep and it was pretty hot too! It’s like staying in a cheap hostel. Probably fine for one night but I wouldn’t stay longer."

"It's a capsule hotel. Surprisingly not claustrophobic. Clean and mostly comfortable. Wasn't too crowded when we were there (we got two pods). Everything was clean and easy. "The hotel property and the rooms were very clean. Daily room cleaning provided slippers, replenished complimentary glass water bottles and toiletries where as hotels I have stayed at only provided once per stay. A little secret that most people aren't away of, they have a subway station (Tochomae Station) right underneath their property & you can exit through their 2nd floor, as their 3rd floor is where their main entrance is located. At this level they have a great convenience store which includes drinks & food like the popular Japanese Seven Eleven stores with a great selection of souvenirs with reasonable pricing ( Godzilla, Hello Kitty) The 2 best features are that the Japan Limousine Bus stops at their hotel ( $39 price er adult includes 2 pieces of luggage & kids are $19 and include 2 pieces luggage) You must purchase your bus tickets through the Japan Limousine Bus on their website and choose the area of Shinjuku ( the ride is one an half an hour so it beats taking the train with your luggage) but double check if the bus is running based on your arrival time and you can see Keio Hotel as an option) Only Keio hotel offers a complimentary private bus to Tokyo Disney Land and Disney Sea which is only available to Keio Hotel Guests ( pre-book in advance after you reserve your Disney Tickets) Their pool is only open during the summer so check with them in advance. The staff are diverse, so many international team members who can speak English. "
