Hidden away in the quiet hilltop town, this was a true find! Two minutes from a huge hillside park with views of the Gulf, too. Amazing food and wonderful service in the restaurant, I lived like a king.

This is really an amazing place. The room was outstanding. The staff was very helpful to give us a lift to the hotel from Kastav and back (the entrance gate was to narrow for our van besides it was heavy raining when departing).

Lorena was so much more than a receptionist. Her knowledge of the area was incredible. I loved every moment even though it was pouring rain when I arrived and my guidance system was aweful

Nice and unique hotel in an amazing small old town. The hotel is really cute! PLEASE NOTE: if you put the hotel name in Google maps, it will most likely take you through a 7km forest gravel road, not very safe to drive there at night. The road is beautiful in the morning. This should definitely be in the hotel description. You can come from another side of Kastav, just put the city center in the navigation app. Food is good, but expensive for this location.

Very hard to find, had to call the hotel to locate. Parking a car was extremely challenging and a long distance away from the hotel. Outdoor restaurant patrons were extremely loud into the late night, which made it challenging to sleep. Power went out at 3:30 in the morning and after the power came back on, all of our lights turned on in the room. Overall, not great.

L’hôtel est bien intégré dans la ville ancienne. Le cadre architectural est bien préservé dans son environnement ancien. Hotel Kukuriku liegt mitten in der Altstadt von Kastav. Sehr gute ruhige Lage. Am besten parkt man außerhalb auf einem Parkplatz. Sehr freundliches Personal, sehr gutes Frühstück mit Eiern, Pfannkuchen … Gutes Restaurant, Qualität hat auch sein Preis. Kommen gerne wider.
