We booked for thermal pool and we enjoyed in thermal area a lot. The room has nice view , equipment was enough but bed was so uncomfortable, pilow was not comfortable, blanket was small for my husband he could not turn other side because not open himself during night, ... i tried to call reception and ask for extra pillow i need to sleep with high pillow but phone did not work. So next time we will go for thermal but not stay at hotel.

Hotel Thermal has an impeccable location. The room was clean, comfortable. The staff is professional, friendly. The wellness and the outdoor thermal pool are perfect. Tasty and varied food is a matter of course here. We will be happy to come back.

The hotel is a relic from the Communist era. It's grey and cold. The staff is the same. The suana area is dark and a little dingy. The only nice thing about the hotel is the outdoor thermal pool.

The vacation u deserved

To stay at the hotel was extremely nice! The staff was very friendly, polite and highly motivated to make everything for comfortable staying. The room was clean and cozy and panoramic windows with sophisticating view on Karlovy Vary. The breakfast fresh and tasty with a fantastic variety of products. My 3 days vacation gave me such a good spa experience and washed all the stress and tiredness away!

The bedding is out of date ( the mattresses , pillows, bedsheets need to be upgraded). The water in mineral pool is not clean enough ( needs to be change more often )

The hotel has its own spa, saunas, and even a whole floor just for wellness to include consulting with a doctor. If you’ve booked the hotel try to get there early so you can access the pool and three free hours at the saunas during the night of your stay. Bring your hotel towels down for the pool but for the saunas grab a sheet. They do allow kids with adult supervision in the saunas but know that swimsuits/trunks are prohibited. There’s a few restaurants around the hotel along with a park right across the street. Definitely try out all the free thermal drinking fountains and just relax. It definitely is a very “spa like” town.

Hatte 2Tage gebucht. Bin nur einen Rag geblieben. Hotel hat den einen Tag neu vergeben. Ich musste aber für 2Tage zahlen. Das wurde alles sehr zum Nachteil des Kunden abgewickelt!

Zusagen werden nicht eingehalten, zusätzliche Gebühren ohne Absprache oder Kenntnis einfach bei Abreise in Rechnung gestellt. Wellnessbereich teilweise nicht zugänglich, hoteleigene Disko zeitweise geschlossen obwohl eigentlich damit geworben wird. Auf Nachfrage wird keine qualifizierte Antwort gegeben, Hotelpersonal wirkt oft überfordert, Zimmerausstattung renovierungsbedürftig. Hotelanlage insgesamt nicht zu empfehlen.

Kurztrip

Die Hotelzimmer sind zweckmäßig und völlig ausreichend. Der Stadtblick aus einen der höheren Etagen ist fantastisch. Beim Frühstück vermisse ich Brot oder Brötchen für Gluten Allergiker. Ansonsten ist Karlsbad immer eine Reise wert.
