Red Lion Inn itself was conveniently located close to many Kansas City landmarks. To my surprise, the first room did not have functioning A/C, however, staff accommodated my wife and I with another room and it worked perfectly. The surrounding area and other patrons were nice, but the hallways did have the smell of tobacco or tobacco products. Some areas in the common spaces had no A/C but that was no problem as I spent most of my time in the room in the evenings. Breakfast was fantastic, among the best I’ve had at a hotel. For the price and location, it’s hard to beat Red Lion Inn, I’m grateful for the experience and recommend it to other visitors.

I liked the room itself. The shower had a weird smell but it looked clean. The hotel is right outside of a truck stop which I wasn’t the biggest fan of. The building was fine the halls just definitely needed vacuumed. U get what u pay for. It’s a good hotel. If I come back to worlds of fun I would probably stay here again.

Clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was excellent! They have a guest laundry which we used. I didn't care for the size of the room - too small. There was no carpet and it was all painted white. That along with bright white LED lights made it feel more like medical exam room than a hotel. All things considered I'd probably stay again.

This was the best hotel breakfast I have ever had in my life and I travel quite frequently. They had an on staff person for the breakfast area that was constantly cleaning it. There were fresh juices, homemade yogurt bar. It was so good.

great place to stay kinda.... the staff easy to work with the noise issue we had while arriving to our room with a party going on in the hallway, doors slammin in and out and kids running the hallways. we just wanted to go to bed after a 5 hour road trip and had to be up at 5am and also while checkng in they sold our double bed room and had to set us up into two seperate single bed rooms. my room and no issues relaxing and getting a great nights sleep, now as for our other room close to the the issue we complained about they could NOT be moved and had to deal with the issues for a couple more hours before getting to sleep my midnight. breakfast was great for myself but for the rest of the party they just wanted to move on and NOT eat after not sleeping well and go somewhere else. understandable
