A French-themed resort on a mountain top in Malaysia was always likely to be a slightly bizarre experience, and so it proved. Enjoyable though - reasonably priced, conveniently placed, room was good, staff friendly and helpful, plenty of dining options. Biggest issue was trying not to end up in other people's selfies/photos. In-house laundry service was excellent.

Terrible choice of hotel
The room smelled of cigarette smoke. When asked to change room, the reception was most reluctant. After that the staff become rude to us. The pillows were moldy and the whole place was dark and gloomy. We felt unsafe and check out to other hotel without staying though we already paid for the 2 ...
